They can't put Fulgore in the PS3 version for the same reason they can't put Kratos in the 360 version.

Fulgore is a Killer Instinct character.
Killer Instinct is propery of Rare.
Rare is owned by Microsoft.
Microsoft created the XBOX360.

See where I'm going with this?
 
I hope you'll be able to get the reward by either beating it or buying it, because not everyone has the time to become an elite MK player, and you'll be pleasing both sides (Well, except for some "elitists").

Besides, Boon's been saying that this Mortal Kombat is very accessible to people, so why would he have something that forces you to do it the hard way?

If you aren't an MK elitist, you shouldn't be getting an MK elitist's rewards. The final unlockable shouldn't be bought.

i agree with that,but dont worry the amount its gonna take to buy it is going to be the equivalent of beating it the right way,im sure of it,so they are not gonna really be getting over

See? Told you about the elitsts getting all stuffy about buying out the End Game.

In the end, only the big MK fans will get that reward through buying it or beating it, because casual gamers won't feel like putting in the time to get that much better at the game, or will want to collect all those koins to unlock it.

I +rep'd him for it (Edit - tried to, apparently I have to +rep elsewhere more). You won't have to get tournament level good to beat End Game anyways, just a few tiers below that.

I remember getting Rock Band when that came out. I couldn't just hop on expert drums and 5/gold star songs. I had to work my way up to it. But, I dedicated myself to it and eventually with enough practice over several days and weeks, I got to where I could master songs at that level.

Getting the reward for End Game should require that level of dedication. It isn't for the casual gamer. Otherwise people will just sit and spam 'Test Your Site' for a few days straight until they can buy it. I personally DON'T want those people getting the same reward as me when I'm going to keep at it until I beat it. Just because this game is supposedly being catered to more casual gamers, doesn't mean every single nook and cranny of it is, or should be.

The reward in End Game shouldn't be able to be bought AT ANY PRICE. It should be made to be earned.

Thats how I feel! Especially since this is supposed to be a reward you can flaunt online, I don't want to see Sir Spams Alot with my reward.

I don't care if you can buy it. You have to earn it one way or the other and if they flaunt it online then just beat their ass and make fun of them for having to buy it. Buying it sound like more of a pain in the ass than beating it. I can do something over and over til I get it right but doing something easy over and over is just mind numbingly boring and tedious.

There you go, and when you beat them you can send them a message like "HAHAHA NOOB I BET YOU BOUGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH END GAME" :laugh: Besides, the first thing you do with online fighting games is find ways to beat spammers. And beating spammers isn't hard.

And unless you get some kind of special title or something online that shows exactly how badass you are at beating it, you shouldn't worry about finding someone who bought their way through it. I mean, the achievement for it is only 20G (And I'm assuming a bronze trophy for PSN). Doesn't really seem like something you'd flaunt in people's faces.

Do you think the reshooting with new actors that was discusses could be a 2D alternate costume to the character with who you beat the challenge?

You mean like one of the kombatants' alternates would be literally a 2D version like in the old MK games?

That would be pretty awesome, but I doubt it.
 
i hear from what they uncovered in the demo that the reward for beating 300 has already been revealed...it's some ultra skimpy / basically naked Mileena costume from her Vignette when she was first created by ST.

what do you guys think about the hackers claim they uncovered all the characters and endings? do you really think they'd release a demo with all that info on it knowing there are hackers out there who could get access to it???

I don't think they'd classify an alternate as "the biggest prize at the top." My guess is its gonna be Shao Kahn or all three bosses which seems less likely. Personally I think Cyber Sub's gonna be unlocked through Story Mode some how.

I concur, in addition to the fact of nostalgia, back in the old genesis days (speaking personally) once you turned it off, it was off and you had to start all over again, i mean some games it saved, but generally you either had to start back from the ground up, or get an issue of Tips & Tricks, go to the back where all the codes were, and find the password or cheat codes :P
