Dogs are just pissing me off lately. My cat doesn't bark and whine incessantly, she doesn't get in my shit when I want to be left alone, she doesn't completely lose her shit when I leave, she doesn't completely lose her shit when I come home, she doesn't completely lose her shit when other people show up, and I don't have to get up in the middle of the night so she can take a shit.

She just lies there, quiet and relaxed, enjoying my company but still letting me exist as a separate entity. Thank ****ing god I have a cat.

I don't have any pets. They're something I like to see at my friends house when I want to leave my own, but I couldn't agree more with everything you just said about cats and dogs.
 
I've seen some not-so-pleasant comments about dogs and I'm gonna defend them.

I currently have a ****er spaniel and he's one of the most mild-mannered dog I've ever owned. When I first got him back in December, he was a bad bastard. Since then, he's now a trained housedog who thinks he's human. He only whines if he has to use the bathroom because he know he's in for an ass-whooping if he pisses or shits in the house. I can take him for a walk without putting him on a lease. And he never barks unless threatened, which is never.

What I'm trying to say is that it all depends on how you handle the dog. They can be man's best friend or man's worst enemy depending on how you take care of it.

true, and alot of pitbull owners are dumbass thug type people,who know nothing about dogs, but want them cause they look "tough". Sure the breed is naturally more agressive, but its usually the owners who dont give a shit about them in the first place. Thats where alot of stories about pitbulls chwwing off toddler's faces come from.

Its quite sad really
 
If only we could make a real life dog/cat combination (with a monocle and cigar). Sigh, we live in a strange world though so it will never happen :(

This is very true.

My pit was babied from birth and has never attacked anyone unprovoked.
 
I prefer cats, I do like dogs, just enjoy cats company more.

Rescued a few, especially one that got into my the warehouse I work at, been a good cat since.

I have a pit bull that was the runt of the litter and is the biggest p*ssy dog ever. But he is awesome
 
LoL i love dogs alot. Especially because they are more intelligent than cats.

My dad's friend has a border collie. If you call it a poof or a gayboy it growls at you. Its funny as hell. Also it does whatits told. Unlike my dog xD. However i do have a cat that seems attached to me. It sleeps next to my bed. Follows me around most of the time is always happy when he see's me. His name is tigger He is ginger and quite fat lol.
 
i prefer dogs, cats are boring to me... they pretty much take care of themselves.

I have a paum and might I add, he is just darling. He may flip a shit when I get home but that's what I love about dogs.

EDIT: Dogs get my vote, by the way.

I actually have a Husky puppy. His name is Shadow and he's like my best friend
 
cats...... are far superior to dogs here are some facts:

1. Cats are more cleaner than dogs
2. Cats are more intelligent than dogs
3. Cats are more elegant than dogs
4. Cats are easier to care off than dogs

keeping all these facts cats win....
