Name: Trey
Species: Hybrid (Tiger/Dragon)
The main hero of the story, Trey is a not so typical (he is part dragon after all) Hybrid trying to make a name for himself and make the world a slightly better place by dealing with the world wide feral problem (hideously mutated hybrids that indiscriminately slaughter eat and violate anything that isn't them) personality wise Trey, despite his ruffian appearance is a very friendly creature and easy to get along with and it doesn't take much for him to open up (though there are things he keeps to himself) one thing that is widely known is that he is son of a powerful (and only confirmed) Dragon hybrid who earned a title of Hybrid Odyssey (a title for revered hybrids whose world changing acts have immortalized them in tales and monuments. Trey wants to achieve this title for reasons know only to his closest friends, though rumors have spread out ranging from Trey wanting to follow in his father's footsteps to simply overshadowing him but the rarest most peculiar rumor is Trey simply wanting to achieve it as a means to get his father to notice him (who had disappeared not too long after he was born). despite his self centered goal Trey is a very selfless individual and is willing to take a bullet for his friends at every opprotunity and willing to shoulder any burden and or blame so much so that it isn't hard to classify it as serious fault (and even nets him blunt criticism from his comrades on rare occasions). despite that questionable trait Trey is seen as a leader of his group (though he doesn't think highly of it and even rather not be referred to as such) due to his level headiness, charisma, skills in fighting and the ability to think on the fly it should be noted that amongst his peers Trey is the only on that will take a feral on with his bare hands (and often times completely demolish the monsters) as opposed to everyone else who has a elemental affinity and or weapon that also nets him immense respect from friend and foe alike and even bring forth fear on rare occasions. the reason for his method of fighting is due in part to a hilariously ineffective afinity (which is doubly ironic since his father had a well known devastating affinity and his son's affinity gives him access to every element) and the fact he always found weapons not suitable for him. however elemental affinities are constantly evolving within the individual and Trey's father's powers weren't always so destructive and feared........

Name: Kiyomi
Species: Hybrid (racoon dog)
one of the last surviving members of a clan of feared and greatly loathed clan of ninjas renowned for their uniform ability to manipulate the cold in varying ways (and infamous for the abduction of children to bolster their own future ranks) Kiyomi was actually born into the clan and was the daughter of the supreme leader of the clan. one would expect her to be a respected and revered individual and you would be right, its just that behind doors she was constantly belittled and ridiculed by her father who showed extreme favortism to her equally cruel brothers due to her less than promising abilities (and the fact that she was a literal runt of her 3 brothers and only lived this long thanks to some good convincing from her mother, the only one who was remotely kind to her before her death due to lingering complications from when she was born 6 years in.) despite the malice from her family (if you could call it that) Kiyomi was determined to earn her father and brother's respect but when she turned 8 tragedy (or a blessing) struck when her entire village was instantly wiped out by a mysterious creature in a violent collision that left almost everyone managled corpses with very few barely intact and the young hybrid girl the sole survivor with nasty scar on her back (and a lingering grudge agains the mysterious assailant that forever took everything from her and her chance to finally earn the admiration from her family she desperately craved) without purpose the young and injured Kiyomi traveled around Japan void of a will to live and just kept walking till she eventually collapsed and was found by a wealthy hybrid and for reasons known only to him was taken in and adopted giving her a second chance in life but not ebbing away her desire for justice against the monster that changed it all for her. fast forward a few years and personility wise Kiyomi is a bit of an introvert due to her initial upbringing and agurably "emo" at times as opposed to Akemi(her adoptive sister) who is spunky and open. Kiyomi can be very protective of Akemi at times since she is the closest thing she'll ever have to a sister sometimes acting more like a bodyguard which annoys Akemi at times. as of now she is apart of the Rift trekker slayer guild as one of the recent additions. while her adoptive sister has meshed in with the group nicely Kiyomi is a little more distant and at times cold seeing the group as nothing more than a stepping stone to personal ulterior motives, but a strange feeling within her is stirring rapidly and melting away her icy exterior a feeling that she had sought so long and hard to earn form her own family, and a particular feeling that she is starting to feel for the first time for one certain half dragon hybrid........

Name: Skye
Species: Mixed (1/2 human 1/2 hybrid
the results of a human and hybrid procreating (disturbing huh?) Skye is a rare Mixed which is also the subject of discriminate scorn by both humans and hybrids (Hybrids and humans in love is extreme taboo in the future god forbid they do the nasty and end up getting a mixed as a result) Skye's mother was once a well respected hybrid in the small town she spent most of her life in until one particularly horrible incident involving a party of certain hated human supremacist (a subject Skye is too sore to bring up) led to the birth of Skye and the galvanization of the towns lingering contempt for Hybrids when Skye's mother refused to abandon her when she was born years later illness has taken her mother leaving her with her only friend a human officer who taken her in who happened to be a former colleague of Skye's mother. growing up was rough to say the least and turned her into a mean violent and at times vulgar young woman when she was near grown and those that tormented her grew fearful to even call out her name since at this point she already sent several people to the hospital and made "butches" her bishes when locked up for it. the only to things that kept her from going off the deep end were a locket with her mother's picture on it and her dream to become a slayer due to the respect they get despite their appearence, something she would like to appreciate for once. now that dream has been achieved as Skye is now a slayer in the Rift Trekkers guild shortly after the discovery of her unique polarity based abilities. in the Guild Skye is more or less the same and initially feels out of place due to the amount of kindness and mellows out a little (though still may occasionally butt heads with several guildmates. despite her history and rebellious streak Skye is surprisingly vocal and proud of her title as a slayer but at the same time uptight about the ways of a slayer making her the guild's biggest supporter and harshest critic something that deep down all of her comrades and others outside of the guild can't help but respect. the only thing at this point Skye wonders about now though since she is living her dream is what comes next (sure death on the job is something she is prepared for ) but whats gonna be next for her? a thought that races through her mind sometimes.

Name: Ray (Dj Dizzy)
Species: Hybrid (Inland Taipan)
believe it or not Dizzy used to have two heads but due to a terrible tragedy he was forced the decapitate it and it left him horribly scarred mentally and also gave way to a violent alter ego that arises in certain situations. aside from that though Dizzy tries to as carefree as possible and even helps with the morale of his freinds and lifts their spirits up (which is somewhat ironic since Dizzy never wanted to be a slayer in the first place) most of the times at the guild building Dizzy is usually hanging out with Akemi (so much so some mistake them as a couple sometimes even though they are clearly not) making some cool music with her as vocals when she is not out with the other slayers and Dizzy has habit of speaking in rhymes on a good day which tends to very with the cast in results but when his violent persona takes over the friendly nature of Dizzy is eclipsed by a sadistic murderous lunatic with a twisted sense of humor, showing no mercy towards ferals thanks in part to his lethal corrosive venom that can eat away at virtualy anything (even diamond and nuke prof materials) something in which he always saves for the ferals due to his toxic hatred of them that he spends so long trying to suppress....
