Yessir aside from being rediculosly long it is also
Stronger than a silverback gorilla
Be used as a whip
Good lock picker
Prehensile like a monkey's tail
Fast enough to react to bullets
Can break feral limbs
Great for cooking
Functions like a rutter for godlike balance and agility
And in a way has a mind of it's own
 
To bad he is a little weary about it


Then again he doesn't even know what his parents look like

Oh and also just a little trivia
male and female hybrids love the opposite sex if they have a long or thick tail ;)
 
I can see her walking on the street and random hybrid's be going crazy over her tail lol.

So does the same apply for Akemi or is she a freak of nature?

Tail is not ever reallya deciding factor it's basically icing on the cake compared to other qualities that attract the opposite sex
 
Regarding akemi hardly since she is a rabbit there are plenty of leniancy and exceptiins regarding the tails of hybrids
