Batgirl in action

Quick question - is it even practical for NRS to give us alts for the DLC chars? Unless the skins are actually in a pack solely for DLC characters, it would mean you're spending money on something you may have not bought. For example - an animated pack - Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl. You haven't bought Batgirl, which means you're only getting 2/3 of your money's worth. Overall, that's impractical. What I would think they could do is distribute skins for the DLC characters in free title updates, like with Battlefield 3's multiplayer updates.

And on another note, poss. contents of the Killing Joke Pack - keep in mind that Arkham City Batman is far too similar to KJ Batman - similar palette, large cowl ears, etc. meaning that the only skin we can get is KJ Joker. Instead assume that it's in the style of the Blackest Night Pack - a skin and perhaps a small mode - like Zombie Mode. Perhaps a POW! BAM! BIFF! mode! I'd pay for that. On the other hand, the climax of the Killing Joke took place in this massive multi-tiered, twisted funhouse. Could we be getting stage DLC?

I'm not spending any extra money on this game until all the bugs and problems are sorted out, especially online.

They didn't make the stages based on included story arcs.

They made them based on the STORY MODE.

So it makes sense since the main characters are superman/batman that it would happen this way.

Since they needed to get to batman's batcave in the story. It makes sense why there are so many gotham stages.

Let's be serious here,

The only reason only 3 people play Skarlet, and she had all the love at the beginning.

Is because they liked her concept and WANTED to play her.

But everyone effing gave up because she's effing technical to play as. ALOT of people don't have patience to work on their muscle memory at the level of a character like Skarlet. AND she has to think harder/and react quicker than Kabal. So obviously if you're gonna go technical mode why not choose a easier to hit confirm-Kabal?

The DLC characters should come with an alternate by default. As well as hero card items.

Not buying it. They should've build the story around every character similar to MK9. Each character gets their own sequence/stage. That way, we aren't left with a bunch of bland batman stages a year from now when the novelty of the story wears off.

Gotham City and Batcave should've been it. Wayne Manor day/night and Arkham/Joker's Asylum are pointless.
 
Counting Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Joker, Harley, Bane I'd hardly say atleast Arkham is pointless. Wayne Manor and Batcave could have been combined, Arkham Asylum is basically ran over by villains anyway so Joker's version is meh and Gotham could have included something like Iceberg Lounge or City Hall.

Though I think NRS focused their attention wrong. They should have either done Justice League-based game or Batman based game. But the storyline with multiple dimensions would have wrecked it anyway. I guess this is just how NRS sees DC.

I didn't like Skarlet because her play-style didn't match my style of playing.
I love Rain, Nightwolf and Sub-Zero though, and those 3 play COMPLETELY different from one another.
People always b**** that Sub-Zero is too slow, but they don't play defense with him or use his ice clones in a defensive manner, which is how he is utilized best.

Wanye Manor day/night related to the story just like MK9 did with the bridge day/night, Rooftop day/night, or in front of Shang Tsung's throne day/night. No one complained then.

I mean when you're playing online or in a tournament (if you go) are you seriously going to say, "Jeez another Batman stage."
I would worry more about the other opponent to be honest.

Lots of people voiced their opinions on it, and I was one of them, especially when it came to the Bell Tower stage from MK3 not having a stage fatality.
I was hoping to see The Pit III (MK3), Kombat Tomb (MKII), Warrior Shrine (MK1) and Palace Gates (MK1) in MK9, but alas, we never got them.

Still without discussing stages I've come to the conclusion that I don't really mind Batgirl.
If there are any players that body with Batgirl then cudos to you.

Agreed.
She looks like she plays really awesome.
For a character that people aren't seemingly too happy to welcome to Injustice, it would be funny if Perfect Legend or one of these top tourney dudes starts bodying people with Batgirl.
That's like getting bodied by Sheeva in an MK9 tourney. :laugh:
 
I'm picking her up because off all the Sodium chloride she's leaving behind each day on MKU, and TYM. I'm not learning any other character until she releases, she's going to be my secondary :love:
 
So, The Killing Joke Skins Pack consist of...
  • Tourist Joker
  • Final Confrontation Joker
  • Red Hood Joker
seems like pretty good pack for $3. Evens The Joker out with Wonder Woman at 6 skins, then when the inevitable "Death of the Family" (aka New 52) skin hits - he'll be tied with Batman.

I wonder what their next pack is...
