Anyone else agree that Secret Character Battles are too easy??

I still have yet to fight Jade in the secret battles, but from what I experienced in battling Smoke, Reptile, and Noob, they just seem way too easy IMO.
 
I have only fought Noob and Smoke. Smoke is cake, but Noob's extra health/my low damage give him quite the advantage. But he just keeps spamming teleport, so easy win there.

Getting to Jade and Reptile is just WTFBBQ.
 
I actually found that getting to Reptile wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Jade on the other hand, haven't really tried thus far. :)
 
Only gotten to Smoke (easy to beat) and Noob (got my ass handed to me there, damn *shaking head in disbelief*)

Have been trying to get the Jade fight, and got 1 flawless round on Shang Tsung but then he hit me every other round...

Haven't gotten any shadows flying around the moon on the Pit Stage yet, so couldn't get to Reptile if I wanted to...
 
I just use the method of restarting the Ladder Mode until I'm at the Pit stage on the first match, If no shadows happen to appear....just pause and choose Player Select. Keep repeating this process until you see the shadows fly across the moon. Works like a charm! ;)
 
they are hard if u fight normally ^^ because they keep spamming. but if u just block and counterattack (preferrably with an uppercut) they're all pretty easy because they are predictable.
 
Noob kept using that damn teleport move. I damn near blew a gasket. That move is now number one on my "most annoying video game moves" list.

Unless it's me using it, of course. ;)

same here
everytime i get the pit stage and a easy fight the witch and santa never show >:O
 
ive only faced smoke, i had the santa and a witch fly past the moon on the pit but i got hit, noob has yet to show up in the back ground on the temple for me as of yet and jade im not even going to bother trying to face her yet, it seems ludicrous

I do this for The Temple, Living Forest and The Pit every time, and it works. :-)


Getting to hidden Jade, on the other hand, is like WTF???
Even with the setting on beginner, Shang Tsung always manages to get a hit in and f*ck up my Double Flawless Victory. :-(

Still haven't fought Jade.
 
Anyone who thinks noob is easy must be god himself. Noob should be arrested and put on trial for spamming that teleport. You can block it, but he will just do it again and again until he nails you with it.

For Noob and Reptile, spam them right back.
All you have to do is block.

NOOB SAIBOT
When Noob Saibot is doing his teleport spam, just block it and follow it up with an uppercut.
EASY, EASY, EASY!!!


REPTILE
Reptile does more combos, but it's the same thing.
Block his combos and follow it with an uppercut.
Follow the uppercut with a jump kick.
EASY, EASY, EASY!!!

I do this EVERY SINGLE TIME for BOTH of these characters, and I win every time.

The BLOCK button is your friend against hidden characters. ;-)
 
Damn. Double flawless on Shang is so hard.
I don't know what else to do.
I can get a flawless on the first round but then Shang goes crazy on the second round and yes this is on beginner.
 
Try using Smoke to get your Double Flawless on Shang Tsung. Spam the shit out of your teleport punch. If it lands, get back a bit while you wait for him to get back up, and as soon as he's up, hit him with a smoke bomb. If it connects, uppercut (or do a combo if you're confident) when he falls from the ceiling. If the smoke bomb doesn't hit, just hit him with a teleport again. That's literally all I did, and it only took me 3 tries.
 
Beat classic smoke without blocking the two times I've faced him noob on the other hand I just counter his spam with throws an sweeps generally the AI loves spamming so just counter it with your own its not like the AI will rage quit on you lol
