Am I the only one who doesn't like any of the new characters??

I don't see why you have to mention my name, considering I haven't 'insulted' someone since I was banned the first time. Pretty immature, seriously.

Anyways, sorry to everyone...

I personally feel that every new character should at least get a chance before being judged on not getting played at all. Sure there are some that are eh... not being starred as much as the others but that shouldn't be a reason to immediately judge them on being poor characters.

You have Ferra/Torr, who in my opinion out of the bunch are probably the most unique looking one out of them all because these two have never been shown in the game... unless you consider the Oni in Shaolin Monks because Torr definitely has the body shape for them but I'm not going to assume he is one. They haven't gotten a lot of air time in the streams or other game play footage and majority are immediately assuming they're going to be cannon fodder.

I don't think so but of course that's just opinions.

I hope people do give them a try at least. That's all I ask for. Nothing to big eh?

I'm not impressed by many of the new characters, but they could sell me on their personality and gameplay as we learn more about them. But currently, none of them are on my most anticipated list for MKX.

Which kinda sucks, because in past MK games where new characters came out, I immediately gravitated towards at least some of them (I remember when Kenshi first came out and how excited I was for him and even way way way back when Kitana/Mileena came out in MK2)

they both seem ridiculously OP to me.

kung jin can throw a bazillion different range types of arrows from ground or air

and Takeda moves all seem OP especially that anti air they showed.

both sure the moves are cool but they both appear way too easy to win with and both remind me of Kenshi in MK9

If KJ goes with the arrows, he loses a ton of his close combat capabilites, and Takeda is going to be slow compared to other fighters.

KJ is going to require you to get in close and stick on him, where as Takeda is going to be incredibly vulnerable to being zoned at range.

duno if you ever played with sindel in mk9 but it was really easy to win with just jumping near and far projectiles, kj can do that plus more including jumping straight arrow and low ground arrow plus kj can stun with the arrows so i think its just gunna be waaay too easy to win with all that.

plus takeda can reflect projectiles so hes not so vulnerable to being zoned at range

A) I'm fairly certain you can block KJ's arrows for no stun, as you can block Sub's frost ball for no freeze.

B) Takeda can only reflect projectiles if he goes with his Beam Swords, which means he sacrifices almost all of his range.

Oh yes... some characters are REAL mk characters just because their names sound "better", that's... only logical...
