The new characters are way, WAY too many. What is this junk? Why would anyone care about Jacqui, Cassie Cage and the likes - they are generic and boring. And instead of incorporating Noob Saibot, Smoke, Rain and Kabal, who are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and integral to the canon of the whole MK universe, we get a bunch of generic action movie junk?
What are NRS even thinking? Erron Black sucks donkey ass too - why would I wanna have a freakin cowboy tard in a MK game? This is preposterous. Jason and Predator? What is this, some sort of travesty? How can you people approve of any of that?
It's great being a puppet of the almighty Warner Bros, apparently. Whatever commercial bullshit they force down on you, you gotta swallow and pretend you love it.
Tell me, just TELL ME you wouldn't wanna see Noob, Smoke and Rain in THIS game, with these graphics, and just imagine how much more complete the game would be if it would feature those iconic names, along with their wide array of abilities and unique brutality.

But yes, I would like to see Noob Saibot (SAIBOT, not just Noob) and Rain. Smoke's cool, but I can't say I enjoyed his MK9 design with that awful hair. He was just a palette swap, but MKII Smoke IS Smoke to me. And his cyborg version. I agree that Jacqui and Cassie are very generic, though.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, if you want Noob, Smoke and Rain, ask NRS to make a MK9 Remastered. The new characters are good (imo)! and i think 95% of the fanbase will agree that we need new characters.

This is like sacrilege - WHAT on earth do those two have to do with MK? Why do they have to stuff in junk like that? What, delusional 14 year old kids requested that and NRS jumped immediately to grant their wish?

I've been dying for a Mortal Kombat game like this and I am completely satisfied with who we've gotten. Sure, there are other characters I would like to see more than others, but only having seventeen days left and counting, I couldn't care less at this rate.
I'm more than happy to see more new characters, since you know... they've always introduced new characters every game since the second. I would like to see more new characters, and maybe more of the 3D era characters return more than the characters that we always see.
Bottom line, I don't have a problem unlike some with this game when it comes to the new characters.

Erron Black is my favorite new character ever since Trilogy. I admit Kung Jin is kinda lame, but no one likes every character.

Nah, I think everything in the game looks pretty awesome.. and that's because its my own opinion. Because you think its trash doesn't mean everyone is pretending to like it. That's a bit unfair.
Anyways, yes, Noob-Saibot, Smoke, Kabal, Rain and the rest of MK9 characters are iconic classics. We all understand that. The thing is though, this isn't MK9. Why do we need another MK9? You are not the first to be unhappy about said characters not being in. If NRS had to add characters based off of similar complaints, MKX would look like that Mugen game MK Chaotic. That wouldn't be a good thing.
One of my major favorites (Kabal) hasn't made it in but the game is loaded with other favorites and fresh faces.

it would be a no brainer for NR to bring out a Ninja Pack in future, plus it would sell a lot. All depends on if they would want to do that or focus on other important characters if they decide to do more than one pack.
