All things Tanya! - Official Diskussion Thread

I really don't care for Nicki Minaj or all comparisons between her and Tanya. I'd rather Tanya isn't anything like Minaj. So far, she isn't, so I'm glad.
 
Hi, the Tanya fans, how are you guys? My beautiful black Tanya!! It's great she is black again! How happy I'm about her new look. I've been a huge fan of hers and I had a crush on her when she was first introduced in the arcade version of Mortal Kombat 4 in 1997. In her bio intro, she was spinning around and she made kissy lips, it was my favorite! I was super, super excited to see my black sexy chick back in Mortal Kombat: Deception and I loved playing as her all these years, and her fatalities and Hara Kiri were extremely awesome! She also reappeared in MK: Armageddon. She made a cameo in MK9, but she just missed the cut and she had a lot of requests to appear by fans.

MK4 Tanya reminded me of Stacey Dash. Her pose in the MKD render strongly resembled Naomi Campbell. We had black MK female characters: Jade, Tanya and Jataaka in the 90's. Now we have another black female american, Jacqueline Briggs. Jacqui is a little okay to me. It feels like she is a mix of Queen Latifah from Set It Off and Bow Wow (his real name is Shad Moss) because of her hairstyle. Jade has been definitely black ever since her first appearance in MKII, but it looked familiar to the actress Katalin Zamiar's face, who played three female ninjas. Finally, Midway made her being sexy black as hell in her primary outfits in Deception and Armageddon. Her MKD outfit reminded me of those Egyptian-African women in the beginning scene from starring Eddie Murphy in "Coming to American". The best rivalry in MK universe is...Jade and Tanya are a couple rivalries that were made with MKD! Their rivalry had a lot potential, and it was my favorite in MKD. It is a big disappointment for me that there is no rivalry between two black Edenians in Mk9 and MKX. I guess I'm going to miss the black Jade/Tanya rivalry. They looked their best in MKD. I really love Tanya's literally young Halle Barry with an Egyptian outfit in a concept art of MKX! I'd love to see Halle Barry portraying the character of Tanya in the MK movie in the future if it's happening, ha ha.

Tanya's official released date has been announcement by Ed Boon a few days ago! This is exciting me! I really can't wait to see a Kombat Kast to show her off on Monday! I'm looking forward to it! Thank you so much for changing Tanya back to black, NRS and Solomon Gaitan!! Take care of yourself, guys. Peace out.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about PFFT! Mortal Kombat is all about racism: what's up with shokan and centaur hating eacher other? Why are the Tigers inferior to the Dragon Shokan clans? Edenians are clearly victims of prejudice in Outworld, not to mention the Osh Teks... :P
