I'm not going to boycott but I am shocked they went this route instead of releasing a MK character that could have used a major overhaul. But to the people who are buying thanks(maybe more DLC) but I can't help you with this one.

If NRS released, for example, the LOTR's Nazguls as DLC (characters I like a lot but sincerely don't fit in the MK universe, as Freddy), would you like to be FORCED to play against them? Then let's have bugs bunny and crash bandicoot aswell...

Not only Is having Freddy included a ****ing brilliant idea I wanna keep this idea strong. NRS you opened this can of worms so you need to see it through and by that I mean bring on JASON VOORHESE!!!!!! Every good MK character needs a rival. Kitana/Mileena Scorpion/Sub-Zero......

I'll boycot only if I don't like the costumes. Simple as that. What I REALLY want is Mk2 Sub-Zero, but if we get other costume that looks cool, but it's not my favorite, I'll get it anyway.

But if it's like MK1 Sonya and Raiden, NO WAY.

I bought all the DLC, until now. For Freddy Krueger, I will get the Compatability Pack to support MK's online community, but I will not pay $5 to support NRS.

I am a PS3 user and I love GoW. I was not happy when Kratos was announced, I do not use him much, even online you wont encounter one.
As much as I am pissed off right now (yeah, I do not like Freddy here), I think he may be enjoyable than Kratos. Like I said before, this is awesome Halloween DLC. But hyped surprise like this. Unlucky...

Honestly, if it's AWESOME costumes and I know I'll be using them (something different than ninjas for once) then yeah I might get the compatibility packs

I said in another post yesterday that the ??? could be a Pokemon for all I care, I'd still download it. You can look for yourself, It's in the 4th DLC discussion.
