As much as I hate the idea of Freddy (I've already been duped into buying the Season Pass, but hey, he's free)... I'm not going to support this thread. It's absolutely selfish to not download Freddy's Compatibility Pack just because WE don't like him. Other people like him and will pay money for him, so we need to respect that.
This is a mere marketing ploy to get casuals to buy the DLC, I'm sure we'll be getting our true MK DLC characters in the next batch of DLC.

You make it out like the governments decided that everyones earthly possesions and money must be cashed in to pay of a defecit or some other kind of crisis and disaster. Grow up.

It's only fair that Xbox gets a guest character too.
If you don't like playing an MK game with ONE guest character, that's kinda sad
. Plenty of other people do want to play as him and you are denying them that right

Alright I did overreact. The only real reason I'm really upset is I already paid for this ****er. I bought the season pass for 4 dlc characters. 4 DLC characters that I thought to be MK characters. Its just like a total letdown.

I WILL NOT BUY THAT SHIT, but I WILL download the compatibility pack, you can be damn sure my Nightwolf will love to beat hell crap of Freedy.
And honestly, he doesn't look original at all in terms of move set, I'd rather have Blaze... His fire teleport is so cliché oh well...

Question for boycotters of Freddy or any other DLC character
Please, don't turn this into a heated debate about if DLC is worth getting or whatever your arguement consists of.
But what I want to know, is what if Freddy comes with two skins for characters that you really want? What if one of the outfits that comes with him or any other character is your favorite costume? Would you still boycott the character and be boycotting your favorite skin also?

I actually liked his teleport, his throw (when he says "ssshhh") ans his fatalities, but his stance and gameplay looks akward and generic, like a MKA character. If he had more interesting moves, maybe I could get him, but I don't see myself using him, so I won't buy him.

Hey hey, let's take it easy. Freddy's Gameplay and fatalities are awesome, but I just don't like the idea of him in the MK universe. And it feels wrong to be obliged to play versus him when I don't. Sure, people pay to play as him but come on, the desire you have to play him is equal to my desire not to fight him. And, as Freddy should not be in MK anyways, it's all optional.
