My friend was going to get into a fight.

I let her pick her choice, so I stood quiet as cricket.

In my mind, I knew this wasn't right.

Her mind seems wicked.

But I want her to learn that this isn't so bright.

so she fought, got in trouble, and was punished with a ticket.

BECAUSE I WATCHED.

She learn fighting was wrong but she was getting older, her mind was going thru some exploration.

She began to smoke and sell weed.

I knew the choice she was making was an abomination.

But I wanted her to learn on her own that this isn't a good deed

One day, she got caught. Now she was put on probation.BECAUSE I WATCHED.

She began to gain anger and wanted to fight again.

I was sadden because she her knowledge was brought down, but I must not do anything for it can be risen.

But I heard the news that she was detained.

Now she must spend years in prison.

Why?

BECAUSE I WATCHED
