What's with the huge shoulders and those arm knives?? Did nobody at NRS see how a Xenomoprh looks like? And what's with that mirror-like, extremely glossy dome? If they are going for Alien 1 look...boy they screwed it up. It's barely any higher than those 3 schmucks, while by canon it was a literal walking TOWER...
Aliens Colonial Marines has better Xenomorphs than this...

The thing is that Guest Character must sell pretty well: If MK characters sold as well as Guest, they would be pretty stupid not to make Kombat Packs with MK characters only.
You do realize that the Xenomorph looks like that because its host was a Tarkatan? It has been established in the Alien Lore that non-human host result in different looking Xenomorph. Take the Alien born from the prison dog in the third movie, for example.

I'm back on my PC now so I can actually type decently. The Xenomorph looks like garbage, and the Tarkatan excuse won't cut it. The host thing came from Alien 3 (something that Boon dissed on his Twitter, and yet...), it didn't inherit some additional features of the host. All it did was change the dome slightly and made the Alien go quad instead of biped. It didn't grow whiskers, nor whool, nor did it have any other dog/ox features other than the fact that it was running on all fours. Do you not see an issue here?
The Barakamorph makes no sense. Why the retractable armblades? Why not the Tarkatan mouth, something that happened in that godawful Alien vs Predator movie and made much more sense? Gameplay excuse doesn't cut it as Xenomorphs already have claws.
The Xenomorph would've been fine on its own. Variations? Drone, Soldier/Warrior, Runner. But no, they had to contradict their own game with the Baraka apparently not being killed by D'Vorah, and instead come up with this abomination. It looks like crap, end of story.

Sorry, but no I don't see the issue. You don't like because, it looks different that the movie Aliens and has an arm blade. I don’t mind the look and actually like the idea of Xenomorph with Takatan features. Some people may agree with you, others with me but in the end these are just our personal opinions not facts.
And no they aren’t contradict their own game. The story mode is canon, everything else isn’t unless a future game says so. So Baraka didn’t gave birth to a Xenomorph, Jason didn’t strangle Liu Kang with his own intestines, the Shokan don’t own Australia and Cassie didn’t kill her own mother and put a picture of her mutilated corpse on Friendship.

No, the issue is that the percentage of TRUE MK characters is below 100%. Tell me how many guest characters are in SF and then we can talk (and no, Final Fight characters do not count as guest characters in SF because FF and SF take place in the same canon universe).

Yes Street Fighter has no guest characters. Other games like Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur or Smash Bros. have guest characters. So what?
I think four guest are too many and could live without Leatherface, but I’m not the one making the game. As far as I care NRS can do whatever they want and if I don’t like it I just don’t buy their games/ DLCs. It's that simple.

Nah not happening. It is already set. The only thing we can do, is not buy it. That's all. Just like Tarkatan said. We vote with our wallets. Now I do not expect to make much of the difference, as we are clearly outnumbered by casuals who are celebrating Leatherface and Xeno. Even so I am glad to see that a lot of mk fans (I am not talking casuals) aren't happy with that as well. Especially a lot known to me. So at least we have going for us, which is nice.
I checked quite a lot of places on youtube and other MK forums, and a lot of people agree on one thing. MK roster character slots being sacrificed for movie chars is complete and utter bullshit.

In NRS case... Trust is lost in drops as in there is barely anything left and gained in nothing. I went through MK9 charade, had to endure MKX PC bullshit for months and after this KP2... f$%k these guys. Any trust or hope I had in them is gone.
This tweet pretty much shows how NRS read community requests.
For months (hell for whole year) massive amounts of tweets and youtube videos asked for MK9. NRS (Ed Boon) answer to that a year later. "No one was asking for it, this is why we took so long"
Now KP2. For months since MKX release. Most requested characters. Fujin, Sareena, Sindel, Baraka, Noob, Smoke, hell even Frost had quite a lot of people asking for her.
NRS: Here are the characters you asked for so much. Bo Rai Cho (yes I said I was waiting for the guy, but he wasn't even close to being requested as much as Fujin or Sareena were). Tri Borg (still gotta get used to that idea) Alien (yeah he was requested a lot of times, but we already have 2 guest characters) and Leatherface... WHO THE F$%K ASKED FOR THIS GUY? F%^king Frost had more requests, than this guy.

I won't buy it as well. If KP2 had at least Fujin, Noob Saibot, Tribot and Xenomorph, I'd be fine. But that Letherface is a joke. We already have a boring mute horror movie killer with a mask. Bo Rai Cho is the least interesting MK character anyways. I will save the money, MKX is dead for me.

Actually, about that PC version...I'm hearing speculation that KP2 won't be on the PC, and such speculation is based on the lack of a Steam logo on the trailer. If that's true, that just means less revenue for KP2.
