Mr. Boon will be @ E3!

And lots of people are sick and tired of those yearly AC updates.
Sure, there are plenty who get every single AC game, but there are just as many who got tired of it and burned out.
Madden gets released every year because "Herp derp, roster changes and the draft."
Super Mario sells every year because little children love repitition.

The last AC games that I played were the Ezio Trilogy (II, Revalations and Brotherhood).
After that it got boring and stale fast with yearly releases, and it became difficult to catch up, so I said "f*** it" and didn't bother with it anymore.
The last Madden that I cared for was 2004 or 2005.
I don't get Madden anymore because year after year it feels like the same game with a new year slapped on it.
Mario has become more stale to me than flat soda.

If you do yearly releases with MK, you risk losing casuals, and MK can't thrive ONLY on its hardcore fans.
I want MK to be shoved down people's throats at ALL costs.

No thanks, I'd like to appreciate longer deadlines than having a very short deadline to become more creative than X's game.

With a new game once every few years give them new and fresh ideas for stories. They would run out of ideas fast if they made it yearly. Do we want another Armageddon game which was one just big fan service game with little to no improvements.

How can wanting more be short-sighted?

Because wanting more in such a short time could mean that a sequel will be another Armageddon rush-job, which I really wouldn't want.
We all know how wonderful MK games can be when NRS (aka Midway) is rushed into doing a game. /sarcasm

I'd rather NRS take their time with the next game and continue to get things right, rather than have them feel rushed and we get an MK game where the gameplay suffers (Armageddon).

2 years is definitely enough time to make a game if you begin development immediately after releasing the previous game. We already have good gameplay, so that's not an issue. More games keep the series in the spotlight. Do you want another Duke Nukem Forever?

You're not factoring DLC which also takes time to do and release, after the game is completed, and for all we know we may also get a Kombat Pack 2, if the rumors are true.
That's not just overnight development.
Plus, you keep ignoring Injustice, which I'm pretty sure that NRS isn't going to just hand off to some other company to do.
NRS will likely do Injustice 2 themselves (if there is one), and in 2 years when that's done they'll begin on MK11.
3½ to 4 years after the initial release date of the first game is perfectly fine.

That has been the cycle between MK9, Injustice and MKX, so what's to say that the same cycle doesn't continue?
It's the same way that mid-April release dates seem to be the norm now for NRS.

Injustice should be a side-project for NRS.

MK11 in 2017
MK12 in 2019
Injustice 2 in 2020
MK13 in 2021

That sounds like a REASONABLE kompromise to me.

Revenant Shaolin Monks would be way sick. I'm not trying to see human scorpion and human sub-zero be best friends in a game like that. No thanks to a scorpion / sub game in the style of SM anymore.

Assassin's Creed is Ubisoft's flagship product.
Madden is EA's flagship product.
Mario is Nintendo's flagship product.

I just want MK to be treated like a flagship product, and a 4 year wait is contrary to how a flagship product is supposed to be treated.

Fifa is EA flagship

Then why are copies of Madden being given away with Sports Illustrated subscriptions instead of FIFA?

Only Americans buy madden while the entire world buys fifa. So i think you can tell which one is the flagship

Remember during the PS2 era, just after Shaolin Monks, when Midway announced there'd be a spin-off MK game every other year? Man, those were the days.

WB could even outsource a spin-off to another studio (one that's not named "High Voltage", please), while NRS work on Injustice II or whatever they have coming next.

Haha, I was like 10 years old when MK:SM came out so I never experienced that ._.
