I'm very happy this effect is starting to grow on the TRMK population. Just as I'd hoped for.
I am huge Tanya fan. She is main reason why i got Kombat Pack.

The trailers for this game had more impact than the full story, and the roster is far too safe. Fujin? Tanya? Rain? Anyone important to the story? No, have some ****ing zombies, but not Smoke 'cuz he's just an NPC. Not impressed. That said, the gameplay is obviously very good, and it's still the best game I've played in quite some time.
Shinnok's a great character and a fun villain, but he'll always be underwhelming as a boss.

As much as I disliked the thought of the dead coming back, for a little while back then I was like "Oh, they're going to explain how he comes back to being alive. I wonder what they have planned."
Nope.
Human Kung Lao, human Liu Kang and human Kitana are all fodder / non-canon, so none of NRS future trailers can ever be trusted.
From now on, I will know not to ever trust any of the future trailers for any future MK game or sequel, because it could be filled with a bunch of non-canon story fodder stuff that will never actually even happen or appear in the game.

His head piece in his primary costume looks dumb. He looks good from the neck up in his alt. I prefer MK4 Shinnok.
Shinnok even looked better in MK9.
