Iv seen the entire story mode, apart from the very end. That doesn't even matter though, because all it takes is one look at that monster and I can tell it's not Johnny Cage.

No, not at all. But if you've seen Story Mode, then I don't understand why you don't believe that Quan Chi is trying to make a revenant out of Johnny through the use of that blood pool on the stage? It's shown in Sonya's chapter.

He's saying that the monster on the regular VS version of the stage isn't Johnny Cage. It's just a background decoration that happened to be used as a plot point

I know he was making Johnny into a rev, my point is, the giant monster isn't Cage himself. Like I said, the monster shows up before Cage even starts his transformation. Plus, it just doesn't look like him. At all. Not one bit.
It's just there to look cool. They didn't remove it from story because it would be a waste of time.
But in the end it doesn't matter. I guess were just going to have to agree to disagree.

No no, we just misunderstood eachother. There are indeed no explanation to who it is in the stage outside of Story Mode, but we know that Quan Chi uses that blood pool to make the revenants. So it might just be another poor, unfortunate soul.

I can understand why some people would get annoyed with me, because I only believe cold facts and official confirmation when it comes to these things. I guess I've just fallen into the traps of fake leaks one too many times in the past.

Does mileena's ending hint that shang tsung's still alive somewhere? Because isn't he like the "architect" of this. I get that endings aren't cannon but that just feels odd that theyd include that wording
