It says it's bundle-only and comes with the Premium Edition, which is the game + Goro + Kombat Pack. I guess they will release it as separate DLC eventually, but for now it seems you need to order a version including the Kombat Pack, yeah.

You don't think pipe dreams being voiced all the time gets repetitive and annoying? It's a free forum, he has just as much right as you do. :)

It's obvious because there were 2 Lin Kuei members who attempted to escape automation in the old timeline; Smoke and Kuai-Liang.
It's not that hard to do the math.
If Smoke was captured and turned cyber in the old timeline, then the "Someone who wasn't cyber before will be cyber this time" clearly is Sub-Zero.

Rain?
Wha-?
What do Reptile or Rain have to do with automation or the Lin Kuei?
I'm not saying not to promote characters, but some characters are very obvious for the roster.
Quan Chi isn't that huge of a surprise for MK9, as you make him out to be, considering that they retconned him into the events of MK1 during MKM: SZ, and given the fact that he was supposed to be DLC for MKvsDC.
How in the hell is Quan Chi actually a surprise?
I would have been more surprised if Quan Chi WASN'T on the MK9 main roster, or at the very least DLC.

I think that Goro wil be always shown at final roster but:
a)If you have him via preorder or buy him later you can choose him
b)If you don't unlock him and choose him, then psstore will be open to buy DLC Goro

This situation is in Dead Or Alive 5 and Borderlands 2 when You choose DLC character on select screen.

Yupp. People act like he will be imaginary if you don't preorder the game.
 
So Baraka is not in the first DLC pack after all, does it mean he might be in the final roster and Liu Kang is unlockable, as in not default part of final roster?

As for more DLC, I hope at least one of Fujin, Reiko, Havik or Sareena can be included...

Liu Kang is in the game for sure, but I really don't think that Baraka is in.

Liu Kang died at the end of MK 9.

we could still get 25 fighters and the dlc equal to 30 we all know liu will be the unlockable right well could he go in the random spot one we we unlock him makinging lover of tacos saying the random spot be gone accuate that open the door for one one more spot to open. this ony a theroy right now
 
If only NRS had the spine to let Liu Kang sit out one game. This time around it feels too much like they're playing it as safe as possible.

Considering that they are adding in 8 or so brand new characters, 3 completely different gameplay styles per character, interact-able environments, and QTE's into MKX....

If someone didn't play or know Injustice was also NRS' doing, they would be looking at this game screaming "WTF ARE YOU DOING?!?". Playing it safe with the roster is probably the smartest thing to do while pushing this much of the envelope.
