Kitana Revealed!

Intros between enemies/rivals = makes sense

Between friends that don't fight/people who have no connection = just for fun of the player.

I mean, Sub-Zero asked Ermac "how many souls do you harbor?"

Does any of you really think that Sub-Zero gives a $#!t about it? :laugh:

The pre-fight dialogues are nothing more than idle trash talk between two characters about to fight. I'm pretty sure if you pit Cassie against Sonya they'll be sniping @ each other as well.

For instance:

Sonya- I think I held you too much when you were little.
Cassie- If you even held me at all!
Sonya- It's time I taught you some discipline!

That being said most pre-fight dialogs likely have little to do with the story, except between certain heroes and villains (i.e: Raiden and Quan Chi) . I'm certain Cassie has something witty and snotty to say to Raiden while Kitana would be a snoot to Liu Kang in their pre-fight dialog as well. I think we read too much into these.

Besides, I can't wait to hear Kitana and Scorpion trash talk each other pre-fight, those dialogs would be awesome.

I think people have trouble understanding that the two people are about to fight to the death, they're not going to exchange friendly greetings and ask how they're doing, no matter who they are.
 
Kitana looks better than ever! Now I really hope to see Mileena and Tanya, so we can shiver at their conversations on the start of their battles.
 
She looks great now. Nothing will convince me otherwise.

It'll be interesting to see how she will use Jade's staff, whether it'll replace her fans completely in the one Variation or if it will be in just a few moves. I mean, all characters have moves that are universal in all three Variations, and unless they are all moves not using her fans, she'd use both her fans and the staff... Well, we'll see how it works tomorrow. ^^

I'm intrigued by Kitana too, my all time second favorite character of MK along with Mileena. First is Kung Lao as of MK9. I'm probably the only person who liked his jealousy arc, since it wasn't as over the top like in MKSM

You're not. It was well done, but suffered from him not having enough development outside of it.
