He could, but that would be because NRS changes his moveset entirely. Right now, he just has moves from other characters. They could easily give the ability to manipulate earth to a new character that isn't a Black Dragon nobody.

Yeah, but the game needs Black Dragon nobodies, they won't give us a faction with just Kano in it. So it's either make up a completely new BD with a completely new original moveset... or take advantage of Tremor. (the correct answer is: why not both?)

I never liked Kabal. He's a reformed Black Dragon who gets first-degree burns and a weird mask to keep him alive, and he uses hookswords and has super speed. That sounds like 5 different characters. It's Bane + Flash + hookswords because why not. Hookswords aren't an "oh and by the way..." weapon the way a sword is, you can't just give it to any old character and expect it to complete the package. Is the guy even Chinese?

That's why.
I've wanted to see Tremor in an MK fighting game since 2001, but all of this bandwagon love and hate for the character, as of lately, is just amusing.

I like Kabal.. but if you broke down his characteristics into a list it would be a random list of features.
 
[MENTION=5028]Commander[/MENTION] - I'm not overly familiar with the community, but I've never been a tremor fan at all and I stand by that. If they included him in the roster and took the time to re-vamp his moves and appearance, I would warm up to him (and basically any character) but like anyone who is a fan of various characters that haven't been confirmed yet, I would much rather one of my favourites who still stand somewhat of a chance be included in the roster instead (Rain, Mileena, Havik, Kenshi, Kai, Tanya, Hotaru).
 
I like Tremor too. I was just busting his balls.
I had Special Forces, but never got to him. I found out about Tremor from a MUGEN game.

Why wouldn't NRS do that, though?
Isn't that what they've been doing with the MKX characters, thus far?

I don't see why NRS would put in a half-assed Vita Tremor with Jax's moves and Smoke's fighting stance.
IF Tremor did make it in, I'm pretty sure that he would be reveamped, much like MK9 Kenshi was.
I also don't see why people (not you) almost always assume that those that want him back just want "another ninja" in MK.
I'd rather see him with an Arab / Middle Eastern or Nomad type of look than a generic "ninja" look.

Right. Basically, I'm saying if they did include him, I wouldn't be upset (and it would be a huge upgrade from all the MK9 characters). I'm just incredibly selfish and would rather one of my favourites get all that attention instead of having to wait another few years.

I would love an Arabic/Middle-eastern inspired character, to be honest. A sand-bending Tremor would be amazing, although the majority of his fans want a generic ninja with like rock skin or something cliche like that, which is upsetting.
 
The main reason why people still want Tremor in is because of the whole Chameleon/Meat ordeal during the Armageddon days where NRS advertised that EVERYone who's ever thrown a punch in MK would be a playable character, and wouldn't you know it, the fans ed and complained enough that they "technically" were characters in their Trilogy and MK4. Tremor is one of the leftovers from that time period that's just kind of become a running joke between NRS and the community since Armageddon.

As much as I would rather see more new characters in MKX, myself, I can understand wanting to see your favorite getting more attention.

Yeah but the time period right before it when people were still discovering new stuff in Deception and Shaolin Monks was amazing :3 that was when I first joined the forum.
