Maybe Cassie refuses to kill Frost, but then that Blood Rage thing that affected Fox starts to take her over mind. Raiden intervenes before she kills her?

The last thing we need are call backs to MK vs. DC. That game needs to be killed off like Hsu Hao and NEVER EVER EVER mentioned or spoken of again
 
You can talk shit about it all you like, but MK vs DC had the best gameplay out of any 3d MK game. It was the only one that didn't feel like it played underwater.

Gameplay wise, yes, it was a step in the right direction.
And it introduced Story Mode to the series as well.
However, the story in itself and the whole Rage thing, not to mention most of the character designs were horrendous and really underwhelming, imo.

Agreed. Fully. The gameplay was fast and was a lot of fun at the time. Sure, the fatalities are weak as s*** and the story was stupid. But I remember a lot of reviewers praising the gameplay.

I think Cassie refusing to kill or someone intervening is what we may see. Cassie seems a lot like Johnny and at first Johnny was against the killing of a beaten opponent. He got a little harder further in, but still never struck me in 9 as a cold blooded killer. Also Cassie's 15, not many teenagers run around thinking about beating people to death.
 
I'm pretty sure the events in that last comic place cassie cage at 20 years old or 18 at least...time is jumping around.

No, Kittelsen's said the comic is sticking mostly around the 15 year mark, barring flashbacks. Cassie's definitely not 18 or 20.
 
I can't believe 15yo Cassie would kill someone, so that moment just wouldn't work for me in regards to her character. Hopefully she just knocked her out, somehow.

And we should know by February 15 whether Erron Black is dead or not.
