I doubt Jax will be in the game. Jax coming back to life along with Kung Lao and the others does not mean that he will be back too.

Also folks, meet your next female and descendant in the game. Guaranteed that army boot belongs to her.
Also, now that we have Cassie and Jacqui is nobody clamoring for a male descendant?
We have Takeda I guess, but Jacqui and Cassie are descendants of Trilogy era characters. I'm kinda hoping for at least 1 male descendant from the trilogy era.
So for now I'm thinking Fresh meat in the game are
Kotal, D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, Cassie, Takeda, Jacqui.
I'm thinking the last 3 will definitely be playable.

You're right, there are no guarantees, but it's a good conclusion, considering Jax has been in a good amount of games, NRS clearly likes Jax, and he'll have some role in the story, therefore, it would be odd for him to just be a background character. He could die again, and let his daughter take his spot in future games (which lol?) but I doubt they'd do it until AFTER this game.

What I find interesting is that they fight in "Johnny Cage's Condo" and not "Johnny and Sonya's Condo".

Not a bad observation. I'm still fairly convinced she's gonna die... It'd give johnny something to be serious for. Probably develop him some more.

I'm not really not convinced Sonya is gonna die in the comic. She might in the game though. But depending on the time period even that won't stop her being playable.

Agreed. I think it'll be in the game too. I'm hoping she's still playable as well. But I'm not counting on it. Different as she may be from Cassie, I still think they're too similar in looks/certain moves to be together. I could be wrong. I hope I am. But I just don't see it for some reason. Johnny yes.. But I think Sonya is going to sit this one out in some way/form. Maybe after having losing all his friends/having Cassie Johnny will insist she sit out as to not lose her.

Sounds about right to me. I just.. that name though! So goofy! I mean, it wouldn't be goofy if Jax wasn't her father. I just feel like her name could do with a bit more creativity
