I would have to disagree, she finally has the exotic and royal look that was needed for her character. There are people out there who have this type of look without plastic surgery, it is just different to the typical Caucasion look. It just comes across as more plastic than normal because of the fact its a video game

I want every character to be FORCED to be visibly recognizable as that character. Do you REALLY think I want to see Liu Kang with a purple mohawk? Shit like that was a MJAOR pet peeve I had with TTT2's customization.

Sorry, not here.... I will keep Kitana until she´s revealed in another game... just like I did with her mk9 image... and the vsDc one...
 
I'm actually impressed by her design, really. She's beautiful (for a lack of a better term). Her face seems to be well-designed, the hairstyle is awesome and so are the clothes. I mean, she looks original, not another "generic slutty fighting game female".

I just wish they would start working this hard on the Asian elements too. This series is supposed to be influenced by Asian elements but it always end up looking and sounding like poor stereotypes, from the appearances to the names, etc. I can't get over the fact that they couldn't even properly pronounce "Ryu" the last time around - such an easy thing to do.

"Ree-ooh" would be the closest, but not exact. You don't pronounce such an "extensive" "Ree" in Ryu. You would pronounce a full "Ree" if it was Ri. Ryu's more like "Reeooh" (fast).

Ri and Ry NEVER are pronounced as "ry/rai". Rai would be pronounced ry/rai. Ri is ree (to put it in English language).

Honestly, Kitana's primary outfit in MK9 was not the worst outfit she has had. I will gladly welcome a MK9 costume DLC pack or an alternate similar to it for MKX. Maybe they'll finally get the hair graphics right!

Oh, it's nothing, really! <o

It may seem like a small thing but it takes a lot out of the "authencity" of the series. My girl (direct descendant of an Okinawan family), for instance, never cared about MK because of the "Americanized" vision of Asian elements. It's too stereotypical most of the time. Since I always lived here in the Occident I'm sort of used to it (not that I enjoy it, but I know it's a reality, sadly) and can enjoy the game, but I know for a fact that a lot of Asian people don't care about it for this reason, especially when it comes to the story.

It's not her thing but she has nothing against it, especially if the game in question invests into its story. She sort of liked the fact that MK 9 had a story mode, for example.
I know it's hard to picture it but yes, there are people who play fighting games and expect to see its story detailed. Actually, I'm like that too, to be honest. MK - stereotypes aside - is probably the fighting game with the most detailed story to this day. This is why I enjoy it. I just wish they wouldn't have massacres for the sole reason of shock value in any of the games.

Ok, I want to write something on Kung Lao since I did not write anything since his leak.

First of all I remember people saying that Kung Lao and Kitana should be the only dead returning characters from MK9 if there were dead MK9 fighters in MKX.

Don't forget that we know nothing about the story yet. The story will span 25 years and it is possible that at one point Quan Chi's slaves will be free again (somebody will defeat QC, maybe Scorpion). All the slaves can come back to life but it's not necessary that each of them will be playable in MKX. Maybe we will see them coming back to life in cutscenes. Kung Lao and maybe Kitana could be unlockable by beating Quan Chi. This is why KL isn't DLC.

I want Kitana and KL being unlockable after the part where they are freed from QC in story mode. BTW I am not surprised that Kitana and KL are the returning dead characters. BUT... Why the hell did they kill Kitana, KL, Liu and Kuai Liang in MK9 anyways?

This whole Sindel Massacre was too quick. The death scenes should have been more brutal. Also instead of the iconic characters they should have killed characters like Sheeva. Why did she survive? We will never see her again.

Kitana looks great, it's a very good design. I like all the characters revealed so far. Can't wait to play the game.

PS: Do you think the PS3 version will be good? I don't have a PS4 and I don't know if I will buy one until april...
 
Kitana looks good, I still want meleena I hope like hell we're not getting a son or daughter from her & Reiko. Cause it looks like they are "together" in the comic page.

PS3 will have the exact same gameplay as PS4. Don't worry about it.
