Lol. She's always been my favorite character since MK4. Her movesets are always confusingly great. Her tonfas are lethal, her fatalities are always my favorites. She was ignored for the most part in MK:Armageddon, but she deserves WAY more recognition!
I'm hoping she's in MKX and has a semi-main role. She needs one. She's an ambassador.
I just have a very strong feeling that she'll just be the MK9 Baraka/Sheeva to MKX if she IS in the game, though. Only in the story as a henchman every 20 or so battles just to get defeated and appear later on and get defeated again.
No doubt I'll be drooling over her again this time around.
I've always had a thing for her, and I got to her before you did. Oop. Shoulda cuffed her faster.

I could see Tanya as being lesbian... I can imagine her kidnap Jade, torture her, and then trying to seduce her to join her rather than kill her...

Doesn't matter. NRS loves him. Lots of people don't like Kano either (I mean before MKX), but NRS does, and he's in MKX.
Plus, your little sample size of a few hundred people on Twitter doesn't mean a whole lot regarding the feelings of a fanbase on one character. Don't be so arrogant as to believe that.

I don't think they'll make her a jobber. I think NRS has learned from their mistakes with characters and storyline development but we'll have to wait and see. If she's a villain, though, chances are she will take some L's in the storyline of MKX. Still, Quan Chi has proven you can be beaten but not defeated so keep hope alive!
I dig that signature, by the way. I never did use that mod that let's you play as her in MK:2011, though, man. I heard it was glitchy as hell. Did you check it out?

I've never really been into Jade. Lol.
I only say that because in the MKD Storyline she was ignored to the point where she practically wasn't even in the game but for arcade.
You only see her for one short quest in the konquest and that's just to do 1 small thing.
Same relevance for Armageddon and for MK4.
She deserves SO much more than she has. I doubt that Ed will give her a big part all of a sudden in-game. Probably a good amount of parts in a bio or an out-game comic..extremely doubtful that she'd have a big part. But you're right. All hope is still up.
Nah. My PS3 unfortunately (Recently) broke before I got the software for it. I was about to though. I would have given her Scorpions moveset and Liu Kangs fatality. As seen in my signature. Lol.
That fatality fits her so well doesn't it?

No it's still on topic.
We've been discussing about how tanya could be the next character and if she was released, what she'd do and who she'd be in-game.
We are on topic, just adding some jokes every few posts.
Though I saw someone post a tweet from Ed on 11/18/14 saying there was only one more being released before the game was to come out.
If that tweet is correct above, does that mean that no one else is being released after Kitana at all?

It all comes down to the "why are they back?" question. We can't know
that at this point, but if its something totally hilarious, which implies
they were just brought back cause they belong to MK, and has nothing
to do with a unpredictable or reasonable thing happening, it just sucks for me.
I really want MK to take the story thing seriously, cause i just enjoy the lore
and stuff.

Im ok with Kung lao & Kitana's return right now. but i said it before, there needs to be a really good explanation not just we wanted them back for MKX. If the reason is good than im ok with them, but lets take it easy on returning dead heroes in the game. The comic will be fine but please they need to bring in MK4 character & Post MK4 characters and then the rest of the roster can be filled withNew characters

I'm torn with the Kung Lao/Kitana reveal. Firstly, if any of the dead were gonna return, I can understand why Kitana is one, especially out of the female characters. I didn't really like her as much in MK 9, but judging by the trailer I'm excited to play as her in MK X. However, I didn't really expect Kung Lao to be back. I thought there wouldn't be much reason for his return, but I think this definitely leans toward Liu returning.
I'm happy to leave the dead 'dead' for MK X. The only one I would want to bring back would be Sindel only for the reason she was my main in MK9. I'd love to see how this would progress between her and Kitana, also it would be awesome to see Quan Chi bring her back under his control as a somewhat Queen of the Netherealm.
I just hope to god Jax isn't back..

Amen to that. I actually thought the tabi was going to be Li Mei, so I was slightly shocked to see it was Kitana. I do hope we are going to see more post MK3 characters as well, and by that I don't mean just Tanya, Fujin, Shinnok from MK4. I think characters like Li Mei, Kenshi, Havik, Sareena are worth a tile on the select screen. I just think it would be a waste not to include Deadly Alliance or Deception characters

I never thought it would be Mileena's. It's not her style in the slightest. Li Mei, sure. Tanya, possibly. I thought it was going to be a new character, honestly.

The tabi doesn't fit li mei to me, meleena is a sai weilding female ninja it fits her. But they did basically erase her being an assassin out of the story in mk9. She was basically a female frankenstein. would have never guessed kitana tho. Now that other boot that looks like small liu kang feet might be li mei
