*Faints*

Hardcore Filipino Superman fan, Herbert Chavez, did EVERYTHING (from collecting superman products to PLASTIC SURGERY) just to look like Superman.

Shiiiit. I wish.

Unfortunately once a cosplayer becomes really big, they don't bother to interact with their fans. When they do it's far in between. Nigri is a fine example (like usual). She rarely if ever replies to people on Facebook and other social media she is on. The only time I've seen her reply to people is when the person is another big cosplayer.

Anyone following that Heroes of Cosplay show on SyFy? My fiancee DVR'd a couple of episodes, but I barely made it through one without wanting to vomit. I haven't cared about what Yaya Han has thought in a while (she's gotten increasingly vain and shallow, especially after her appendectomy) but her entire 'well, overweight people shouldn't cosplay hur hur hur' shtick turned me off. That said, hearing that Nigri got taken down a notch and called out on her sexualization of cosplay is a win.

Needless to say though, overall, just another crappy reality TV show trying to exploit a scene.
