Heard about this anime from a friend so might check it out. What it about?


I have access to watching these animes. Used to have Crunchyroll but I cancelled my subscription.

It's about these giants known as Titans (also called Eotenas in one episode I watched) and they devour humans on sight. So the humans have built three gigantic walls known as Maria, Rose, and Sina. The walls provided the humans a century of peace until one day the Colossal Titan appeared out of no where and broke down Wall Maria which allowed the Titans to enter. The anime centers around Eren Jaeger who is a yong kid who wants to join the Recon Corps in order to see the world and to fight Titans.

Now I'm going to stop there because I don't want to spoil the anime too much for you.
 
The last episode has me really hype simply from one quote


"Why do they take everything from us?"



Really has me anxious to find out the titans origins. Are they supernatural? Some divine or demoic punishment? Are they weapons? Human machine creations? Maybe they're merely symbols for something else that destroys humanity.

just finished watching all the eps so far,addicted now it the first anime that Ive watched when its just stared in a long time
 
I didn't understand that part because

I thought titans couldn't feel pain?

Are the eyes another weak point? Because we've seen them get their fingers chopped off without even flinching.

Well he threw it in his eyes to blind him. Kinda like what they did in Episode 7 to blind the Titans. Plus his eyes needed time to regenerate so shit

I think he ment the way the Titan was holding his eyes like he was in pain.

Maybe there are classes/types of titans. Some feel pain, some don't. Just like some are jumping bastards, and some aren't.
 
anyone else think it's a better idea when you recommend this anime for someone to NOT watch it with them? Make them watch it alone?

I think the impact of emotions is stronger when your by yourself.
 
It felt short because it took like 7 minutes before we got any progression.


I can't hate it, it had a bunch of good info and it was cool to see Armin take a stand like that.

Yeah I'm just saying everytime the credits come up I'm semi-shocked it's already over lol.

That Captian is a fvcking idiot. Even with all that logic that Armin presented to him he still decides to kill Eren.

I hope he gets demoted later in the anime
