This is pretty much how it goes throughout the community. I go to several forums, and if I see it on one, and not the other, I just pass along the info to the other. I don't go to TYM, so I appreciate C-Sword passing things along to here. One less place I have to check.

yeah it's a good thing to pass info.

I was just saying that so people don't start thinking he's like Boon's Best friend.

I'm guessing he's just in the comic, and possibly story cutscenes, doubt he's playable. Maybe DLC.

It's gonna make for an interesting dynamic though. Bruce's son on Superman's side, because, Damian has no problem killing.

As a side note, I had no idea this comic is gonna have more than 4 issues. So it's continuing past the game, at least another couple issues, kinda defeats the point if we already know the story and ending by then. lol
 
Whether he is DLC or just in the game to start with I would think he'd be playable - don't forget his symbol and Martian Manhunter's were both in that first preorder pic. Plus he'd play pretty differently to Nightwing considering his height and training.

I'm interested in how this image seems to put Flash in the middle of it all and seeming to be unable to choose a side. I had thought he seemed from the story trailers like he was pretty firmly on Superman and Wonder Woman's side.

Don't be hatin'.

Robin has this unjust stink on him because of the 60's T.V. show and the Schoemacher films.

The Robin in more modern incarnations 70's-current, are all awesome. Dick is of course Nightwing. Jason becomes the Red Hood(another awesome character, I reccommend watching the DC animated film "Under The Red Hood" if you haven't already, it's on Netflix instant). Tim is the lovable Teen Titan in the animated series, and becomes Red Robin(the one in Arkham City). And Damian isn't the best, but the fact that he's Bruce's and Talia al Ghul's son, kills people, and uses a katana etc. is quite an interesting dynamic.

So give 'em a chance. Like I said, Robin has a stink on him from that other crap, when the character in the comics themselves, is actually pretty cool.

His symbol was on the comic book cover placeholder, so it makes sense he'd be in the comic. I doubt everyone in the comic will be playable, as was the case in MKvsDC, and Boon has confirmed not everyone in storymode cutscenes are playable. He would play different than Nightwing, all the Robin incarnations would. So i'm not against him making it in. I'm just saying he's likely not, at least not the initial roster. Maybe DLC. Depends if they want to go down the "having a 15 year old in a fighting game etc." risky road.
 
Well I don't think it would be any riskier than having a 15 year old going around killing people in the comics. Plus Xiaoyu from Tekken is meant to be 16 I believe, as is Sakura from the Street Fighter games. One year wouldn't make a difference, surely

This is a bit more over the top and violent than SF or Tekken.

Yeah I don't see it as any reason not to have him. It's not MK. I am just saying...lol
 
Yeah I know ... I just kinda hope he's in the game. I always liked the Robin characters and I don't really see any reasons why he wouldn't be in apart from I guess to keep people from complaining about how many Batman characters are in it.

Probably. They also don't want to include characters that are similar, and although the different Robins could all be included and still play different enough, in the end, they are still similar. I'd definitely like one of them as DLC. Red Hood, Red Robin, or Damian.
 
Red Hood would be awesome in this game. I would definitely pay for any of the Robins as DLC. Except possibly Spoiler. . . I didn't like her as much.
 
Since they mostly look like they're based on current continuity in the DC universe he would probably look more like this

New 52 Red Robin is so hawt :O~~

And I really hope that Damian is in this, it would awesome if Bruce's son was going against him in the story.

I do not think that there are going off of the new continuity for their costumes, Green Arrow, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, and Joker don't look anything like their New 52 selves.

I don't care what he looks like now I prefer his Kingdom Come appearance, seeing as its the classic look for him it could easily be put in as an alt either way its better than how default Robin looked in Arkham City.
