I dont understand though was the patch really ready for release or was it just a release test to see how well it did? Obiously Ed Boon said they would hope it releases tonight so that means that Sony needs to update there PSN so we can get the patch and same with Xbox Live users it seems for Microsoft.

Well actually, there wasn't a patch release, it was the EUR/AU version that came out. That version came already fixed for them from the start.

Yeah i went back to read only the same thing :/ ... just hope we can get ours soon can wait to get my hands on it. Hopefully tomorrow we can get ours :)

I'm confused...
I'm at work now, i live in the UK and i have a 360, does this mean the patch will be there waiting for me when i get home??? are people in the UK with 360's playing this??

If so i'm so excited a bit of wee just came out :)

If you bought the US version, nope... patch still isn't up. If you're gonna buy the UK version, yes, you'll get the patched version.

Everything works great now, but there is still no one in MKAK servers, got bored to find anyone :(

Sorry should have maybe explained a bit better, i bought MKAK on day of release, i'm one of the original highly dissapointed people. Just wondering if the patch is ready to download in the UK on the 360, can i update my MKAK when i get in from work? Is it live?

Yeah, i downloaded EU MKAK and installed 1.02 patch. Still 1 or 2 people in 2 hours, but online is really improved and liked the stretched screen & scanlines.

Will this break my console if i download the uk version aswell as the us version to my console? I have the us one from an us account but cant wait any longer for the patch. Quit smoking so i have some spare money lol

I dont have it yet. but im a 360 owner in uk should i have it by now?. Does a update appear or do you have to redownload? god this new dashboard is annoying me now.................................

Watching umk3 Patrick video you can see how the game after a versus match reset, it's always battle 1
if this happens in mk 2 too then you can't fight against noob saibot, so arcade perfect? :bs:

my only wish for this patch is they fix a bug when the game doesn't load the special moves and your only tools are just the basic moves.
this happens to me A LOT of times playing MK1 online
 
Some questions:

Do you get longer time to input a fatality?
Does mk1 have the old audio back such as the monks clapping and goros lair theme?

Also i downloaded again again. and nothing happened. So i dont think xbox users have the patch and im in UK btw. so yea :/

The patch for US PSN or Both EU and US XBox owners is going to be next Tuesday at the earliest and possibly even the week after. Bringing a fixed copy out from the get go is easier than applying a patch to the broken product. These things take time folks. Probably best to set up an European account and buy the game again if you have a US PSN version so theres more money in NRS pockets that will ensure quality realeases in the future

I think i will just wait till a fixed product is released, im not whilling to spend more than what i already paid for my copy
