someone with a higher ranking leaves the game when i beat them the 1st round just so they can keep their score...:reddy:
 
1)People Pull in ranked matches, that really shows how much skill you have...

2)Cyrax resets %70 on one Meter (Correct me if im wrong)

3) Hate mail, If i Beat your kano after you spammed knives and upball Dont tell me im a Bad player...

Also someone leaving during a ranked game doesn't save them from getting a loss. The person who leaves the game/disconnects gets a loss.

You do know it takes like 15-20 seconds for it to register right?

I've experienced the same thingI checked my record. Saw no progress. got a drink, came back I had another win.

i know it takes a bit for the leaderboard to update the score, was just commenting on the instant graphic that shows your score move up.


anyways, i also hate when i keep doing ranking and it puts me with the same player over and over who never responds to the game match so i keep having to exit and re enter lol

Just beat a higher ranking person, flawless victory, then a fatality. Then they left game. there tag was G3 R i C a N

can anyone confirm if your rank goes up or down if someone leaves? I beat a 1750 level player "birdsbechirpin" who left right after i finished them. im pretty sure his rank doesnt go down because he was not that great with kabal and i raped him with sheeva. im waiting now to see if my score went up or not

nope my rank didnt go up, after shutting the ps down and restarting to give the leaderboard time to update. what a little *****, and that person is like ranked 12th due to leaving games everytime he loses.
 
1.LeaderBoards kinda stupid isnt it? I mean why even have a Fuggin Leaderboard if you gonna let sore losers make off with there points? Its oxymoronic to EVEN have a leaderboard Then! Specially 1 that can be exploited like that!
2.I have beaten 25-50 players with a score of 16,1700 or more and 100% of them quit. This Is a Epic fail on other ocean. I hope the patch just resets the lb, I hope it penalizes The quitters. I hope This wrong is righted
3. Hey OO, NRS. There is something called a DNF rate, (Does not finish, Do not finish) It warns other players how often the proposed opponent QUITS. Get With The Fuggin Times you @ssholes!!
4. Ive killed my MKAK ranked time till this is fixed (meaning i dont play at all now) all the scores are fake

Agreed.

The sad thing is, everytime I enter a match with someone who has a rating as high as mine or a bit lower/higher, I just EXPECT them to quit. It's funny how the players with lower ratings are actually better than the majority of the players that are ranked high. I've also noticed that players on MK2 tend to quit a lot less, I guess the UMK3 bunch takes it too seriously.

Anyways if anyone bumps into me on there I have a somewat high rank, but I won't quit if you kick my ass. I know it's just a video game but I feel like a coward quitting and I want the rank to truly represent my skill in the game as much as possible, how else do you get better? Some of those people with high scores aren't fooling anyone. Put them in a 1v1 and they'll lose 9 times out of 10.
 
i have 1823 points (aprox) and never quited
if someone here won me can confirm that. i lose more than 20 points in a single fight and well.. bad luck, but no quit

there are some quiters in top 10.
i take note of quiters and never play again with them.
i hope they fix the quit thing
