I'm tired of seeing many complants about MK:AK so I decided to make a thread about positive comments.

I don't have to game yet, but I sure as hell can't wait to get it. I haven't play MK1 in a while and I never played the arcade version of MK1. I'm excited about that. Also, my brothers love the classics so we'll be enjoying it together.

What are your though positive thoughts of MK:AK

I like the menu music and I enjoy the Arcade Theme. I love how it has fast loading times, and that each game has different kombat points.
 
I'm not gonna lie, I love having this collection on my machine. I don't care about the ****ing brightness levels or the sounds or any of that shit, because the gameplay is intact and I can FINALLY play MK1 and UMK3 on my ps3! Plus the painted filters are really ****ing cool and the menu music is ****ing badass. I haven't bothered touching the online play because I knew it'd be ********. Playing with friends is all I need.
 
As someone who has been playing these games since I was two or three years old, and still has working copies of MKI, MKII, MKIII, and the original release of UMK3 on XBLA, I love having them all easily playable in one convenient package on my X-box 360.

It is especially awesome to play through all of these games again and have them be just as fun as I remember. Specifically MK1. That was the first game I ever remember really getting into. I played it as much as my mom would let me!

It is really a testament to the fantastic work Ed Boon, John Tobias, John Vogel, Dan Forden, everyone else they hired for MKII and MKIII, and of course all the various actors and martial artists who portrayed the characters who we all love accomplished.

Oh my gosh!!! This has to be the BEST compliment I've ever EVER heard about NRS. You sir are now one of my favorite TRMK members and you have my respect.
 
Love the menu music and that I can play these without switching consoles to do so is awesome. Loving it despite all the things that need to get patched.
 
I love being able to play mk1 online, it kicks ass.

Also love the arcade filter and arcade cabinet mode.
 
For $10 ($3.33 per game) the price is a great bargain. Owning a piece of video game history and reliving my childhood memories is important to me, so I'm glad I have them legally on a home console. There's also a lot of content for the price.
 
I love the fact that each game instantly works with the tournament stick with no button mapping required.

I also thought the menu music was a nice touch.

I like that it loads all 3 games at once so you can switch between them without having to wait for each one to load.
 
I'm just so glad to finally have the best 3 (IMO) MK games on my PS3!! The patch to fix the glitches and such will come soon enough...thus making it even better! :) LONG LIVE 2D MK!!! LOL
 
Love it, sick of the bytching. The games seem 99.9 percent intact. I was there in 92,93 and 95. I wasnt 5 years old like most of u. This is faithful and for 10 bucks cant be beat, honestly i do not know what most were expecting but some are just being unfair. THE only gripe i have is the very aggravating ragequitters and how your score will change when u swipe games. lag should be patched

Totally agree with you!! And fear not, the patch to resolve the issues is currently in progress. Just hope it comes sooner than later! ;)
 
I dont know why people have so much negatives comments for this game! I thought this collection was sick and for $10, is a steal! =p
 
I love MK:AK and tbh, I don't care about MK9 because I don't really understand the gameplay style.

But yeah, just waiting for the PC version to be released so I can enjoy some high level gameplay.

I was in my early 20's, these games were the shiznit! I haven't gotten MK:AK yet, I've been "out of town", probably get a card and download after work tomorrow.
