Can't believe Nash is going to fight Punk. I smiled when I heard the nWo song but....Nash? Come on, retire already, ffs....

Not likely to see Scott Hall anytime soon, considering he now looks like this:

...and is also probably in the end stages of alcoholism sadly.

He can still do it dammit!

To Hall's credit, he declined to go to the HOF show when HBK went in and they did the Clique reunion because he didn't want to be in a situation where he would be around alcohol.

@[sek] - since we're throwin' around words like "dumbfounded", "ignorance" and nonfactual posts then I'd say you're full of crap. (I also know your statement to be true). If memory serves, in either the Tampa or Miami papers there was something about Hall's wife calling the cops on him; he tried to charge at her so the cops restrained him then Hall attacked the cops.

This was about 2-3 months ago I believe.

As far as the story about Hall and the cops, his ex called the cops to basically do a wellness check and he got belligerent when they showed up to the house. She's taken to Twitter to try to get him the help he needs, especially after showing up to an indy wrestling show barely able to walk. Sean Waltman (X-Pac) replied stating his friends have all tried to help, to no avail, and maybe her making a scene and trying to embarrass him publicly isn't going to help matters. Kevin Nash wrote an especially heartbreaking blog post around that time that was him more or less saying he's waiting to get the call any time now that his friend is dead.

i remember the article. A friend in Miami sent it to me. Scott Hall's is a sad sad story :(

Apparently there's a rumor going around backstage that something came up in Nash's medical tests and that's why they suddenly changed the match to Punk vs HHH. Considering he had to miss a PPV when he was in TNA for legit heart issues, there could be something to it. Something clearly happened during the show since they wouldn't have had Nash come out and powerbomb Punk if they weren't going to do the match.

I enjoy how people think dissing Punk makes me rage, lol. It doesn't ;P

Anyways, this is the wrestling I grew up with, and my favourite era EVER <3

^ I remember watching that like it was yesterday and being all OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED?????

You best remember that Piper is the greatest wrestler EVER.

I miss 80's wrestling.

A few things came to my mind.....people are confused over Nash having the nWo theme, and it created rumors that the nWo could possibly return....what I did notice as well was Punk said 'brother' on Raw, and Cena mentioned it before, which makes me wonder if Hogan might be the mystery texter...maybe a longshot but just something that came to mind after hearing 'brother' a few times and the nWo theme.

I think Hogan is still under contract with TNA until January but who knows...
