Nah that's just your opinion. If he's getting treated like a classic, then they are praising him. Glad he got an alternate. I'm pretty sure that is an incentive to download the compatibility pack anyways.

I'm glad he finally got an alternate, but for C.Sub to get one before Rain, Jax, Sonya and the rest is straight booty son.

its not about him getting one before them, its just stupid that they gave him a retro outfit in the first place

Instead of using their heads and thinking of an alt for him, they just gave him a costume from a game he was never in.

^This. Plus it was an easy pallet swap. I like CSZ and I love the retro cyborg skins they have made. All of you people are never going to get a Sonya, Jax, or any other character that can't be a pallet swap for free!!!! Why can't people see this??? I hope they do other costumes but charge for them. It's the only way we will se any of the other characters get alts

I've been saying that for a while, but they did spend the time to make a face for unmasked subzero.
Possibly hinting that they are stepping things up with costumes and wont just be making pallet swaps anymore.

I'm thinking positive, but the fact that they put retro cybersub makes me say otherwise. I really dont know anymore
 
Everyone should be happy its free. Free costumes and theres complaints? Cmon guys.

But you guys are complaining about how Rain should get a costume, when it would be unfair to Skarlet and Kenshi fans since Rain came out after them.

To those complaining about how CSZ was never in UMK3, In this story Sub-Zero is replaced with Smoke, therefore him becoming the Cyborg and not Smoke. So if this game is all about the events that go from MK1-3, then it would only make sense for him to have a klassic costume.

To those complaining about characters that arent ninjas not getting an alt, theres going to be ANOTHER Klassic skin pack since the first one is clearly titled KLASSIC SKIN PACK 1! So expect a second one with your JC, Jax, Sonya, etc and MAYBE the other UMK3 ninjas in it, but that might be a seperate pack, or maybe they will come as comp packs with some new DLC.

But as of now theyre free, so cool down and chill out. (attempted Sub-Zero humor for the win :D)

Lol. Why should Sonya, Jax, or the rest of the cast get an alternate before CSZ? They ALL already HAVE an alternate.

The DLC characters shouldn't even get priority over a Non-DLC character.

CSZ's alternate is one that was actually needed and not just for people to nostalgia all over.

he may fit MK9's new story

but RETRO means MK1,2,3. You cant just make a new character and pretend like he's been there since 1995. He still has never and will never be retro.

I totally understand where your coming from, hes not retro. Everybody here knows that, but I think NRS felt 1. It would fit the story and 2. It would shut up all the CSZ fanboys crying because he has no alt. Do I agree with them doing a pallette swap, hell no. I think he should have had a completely different design, but NRS would obviously charge money for that because its not a pallette swap.
 
i will say given the effort put into unmasked sub zero, that I am ok they just did a palette swap for the other costume. Granted I dont even use either character lol. oh well lol
