being the big music fan I am today, part of it may come from the fact I used to really enjoy the music in the games I played when I was a kid

My hands down favorite is basically the entire Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver soundtrack. Set the mood perfectly for that game. One of my favorite tracks:

lot of DK country fans, not surprised. As somehow rare was able to make the music so damn nostalgic sounding even back when it was new, doesnt make sense, but they still managed to do it. Great game too

On a related note, it's unfortunate that few games have soundtracks released in the West. Few Western games release soundtracks at all while Japanese games usually require you to import them.

aw this brings back so many memories my fav is double dragon stage 4 but i hav so many ill post later
 
I think it's cool that you can tell which era everyone grew up on just by their video game music choices. Keep them coming. :)
