MK9 just came out and you know it's going to be awhile until MK10 so what would you rather have?

More DLC content to keep us satisfied during the wait
or
"Save" characters and content for a future release.

Personally, I wish they would just release shinnok, fujin, reiko, n just go thru MK4. The reason I want this is because of the engine. I think they couldn't have done better on a 2011 Mortal Kombat game. You release a game for $60 and then content equal or more would be such a good financial decision for them because they're just adding on. I'm sorry but I'm a diehard MK fan so I'm buying every bit of DLC to ever be released (except for avatar costumes). I just don't know why fans want them to move on when we have such a damn good engine made. You've seen the DLC so far and each time they are spot on with it. I just wanna see every bit of MK packed into this game. It should be MK1-MK4 cuz after all they're the classics.

Mk 10 for sure. If NRS can make a good game like MK 9, they surely can do better. I want them to make a better game with a more deeper fighting engine, whole new story, post mk3 characters given more prominent roles, with better character designs.
 
Definitely MK10. In this day and age, constant updates are made available. So by 2013, things in video games could be so real looking, even now if we saw it all of us would be amazed. Plus, all the DLC would end up costing more then an entire game.
 
I see no reason to wait for a game years in the future for characters that we want and could potentially get now.
 
MK9 came out a few months ago. I think that DLC is a better option. For now anyway. It keeps us going going until the next MK game. Ed Boon said himself he wants to stick with dlc for mk9 for a LONG time.
 
mk9 with DLC.
I mean, is not cool pay for evey character. but this game of MK is THE GAME. we need here more characters and arenas, maybe more moves and actualizations, maybe continue the story mode with mk4 story line, and fix the roster screen.
 
Personally, I want Ultimate Mortal Kombat 9, kinda like how Capcom did with Super Street Fighter IV.

Improve the game in every way, and release it for around 30-40$.
 
I just want a good training mode and a decent netcode. Doesn't matter to me what NRS adds to the game as DLC. If the game is not playable then it's not freaking playable.

DLC wise, I think we have enough DLC characters for now. What I would really like next is some bonus challenges in the tower and more content in the krypt. And maybe Friendships/Brutalities as DLC just for the heck of it.

And the hell with Klassic costumes man. That shit is so barebones, ugly and old. Talk about playing it lazy NRS. SSF4 alt costumes >>>>> MK9 alt costumes.

I wish we'd get some characters for DLC that would also appear in MK10 with an improved moveset and design. Kinda like Scorpion and Sub-zero appeared in MK vs DC and in MK9 they went through many changes. I would like Tanya to be one of the DLCs and one to be in MK10 with changes like Scorpion and Sub-zero had from MK vs DC - MK9, as many other characters (Havik, Rain, Fujin, etc).
 
What MK9 could do with:

More arena's from MK 1,2,3 and UMK3
Couple more kombatant's
Animalities and Friendship's
Klassic fatalities
More klassic soundtrack's

I would say thats more than enough :)
 
What if the next MK is not a sequel or even if it's not a fighting game? I prefer DLC. Plus, it's cheaper for me to buy more DLC than to buy a new game.
 
It depends on what content. I certainly want everything connected with MK1-MK2-MK3 here, as DLC for MK9. Fatalities, stages, costumes - i want it all right here, as i want MK9 to look more and more like MK1-2-3.
Characters? I certainly want Shinnok, Reiko, Tania, Jarek, Kai, Fujin for MK10 as I hope MK10 will contain an altered MK4 story. In MK10 i'll be glad to see aso characters from later games, as Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Nitara, Frost, etc. But I absolutely don't want these characters in MK9.
 
They should come up with completely new characters. like some brotherhood of shadow characters. there is ten earthrealm heros quan chi could remake make into evil things... shadows, wraths what ever.
I want more DLC but they should limit them to four a season so they don't get carried away. or even less like. two characters, so they have time to make them awesome.
