bluberry and lime are Sub-zero and Reptile's MK2 costumes.
NRS is not going to waste time to do classic costumes for other characters that nobody cares about or uses. The ninjas have always been the most popular characters in these games outside of Kabal in MK3.

Looks as though we are of the only few sane ones here. I mean, seriously. They just released MK2 skins for Smoke and Noob, so they will just turn them blue and green, respectively. It makes sense.

But the coding on the disk that had the girls MK2's is very convincing. It'd be lame if they just changed colors and thats it. I would think they would release something different each time.

ALL we can do is wait... and speculate.
And btw there are lots of peeps out there that love the other MK chars other than the cooler ones like the Ninja or cyborgs so they have to keep everyone happy and give everyone extra alts is my guess.

Primary and secondary like in 2 costumes and if you're refusing to believe me then I suggest you finish ladder with her, like every other character who's alt you didn't get from the krypt. EVERYBODY EXCEPT CSZ AND DLC HAVE ALTS (for now) EVEN KRATOS. Anybody else feel like backing this up

I think the whole "she doesn't have an alt" thing is because it's so bad, it's best to just pretend it doesn't exist. That said, the P2 coloring of it is halfway bearable with the camo shorts and darker top (and her more strawberry blonde hair).

The only possibility that they have, to not touch the UMK3 Ninjas is that they might want to release them as a pack... And get some money for them.
When will this mystery be solved anyways? The others were known so early...

lol I came into the thread to point this out. It makes me think it's something other than a classic or at least better than a pallette swap. The last few times it seems to have been known who the pack was a week ahead or the clue was painstakingly obvious. So since it's some vague clue that could mean a lot I think it might be something different. I want the damn trident Sub zero! GIMMIE! And I would like an updated human reptile. The classic is cool but it's not very reptile.
And I like how when Sonya's alt was first seen all it got was praise and now it doesn't exist lol.

No, they would sell Scorpion and Ermac first if that was the case. Scorpion is first for practically everything.

Then how did we just got MK2 Noob and Smoke before him? lol That "he will be first because he's this specific character" doesn't make any sense right now. Or else, Liu Kang, Kung Lao and a few other's would already have a costume because of what they mean in this game.

Well, it's official. The Compatibility Pack #3 trailer comes out Saturday according to Rigo on Twitter.
I'll be glad when it's revealed to be MK2 Sub-Zero and Reptile or MK2 Kitana and Jade from the demos leaked files, just so this whole debate comes to an end.

I would welcome both of those suggestons to be true, but don't you guys think it's a little weird that they don't pacage the klassic Sub and Scorp or Kitana and Mileena together?
Regardless the free klassic skins haven't been disapointing so far

This has nothing to do with me. He is in fact, Ed Boon's favorite character. He's on the cover of the game. He is the Netherrealm Studios Logo.
Who was among the first vignettes released? Who was among the first retros released? Scorpion.
Did Noob and Smoke have MK1 retros? No. That's why they were before Scorpion in MK2 costumes.
So out of all the characters that have retros already, it would be safe to assume that Scorpion would be first. They wouldn't put Reptile in his place.
