Solitude has the best Quan Chi that I have ever seen. I barely only took him 1 games out of 8 againts him.

His high low mixups are ridiculous. You can't do anything againts him. After seeing him play, Quan Chi is seriously A+ tier. He rapes zoners for free and he can destroys anyone up close. He seemed borderline cheap lol.

Solitude is probably in the top 10 best MK9 players in the world right now. He's in the same category as Tom Brady, REO, FLOE, THTB, LI JOE, etc. By far the best Quan Chi in the world.

Thanks man, and I assure you no matter how badly they're planning to nerf Chi with the patch, it will only help me become a better player in the long run.

What do you think they will patch? As his damage is not that relevant, the only thing that he has is great mix-up combo starters, with overhead and low combo starters..
 
Maybe they'll take out the remainder of his rune trap, you never know.

Quan chi has 2 40% damage combos that require 1 bar of super, and trance resets along with what you mentioned.
If Chi trades off trance with a projectile, he can recover then use ex skeletal boost (Boost damage, regain health you just lost), imagine using that 40% damage combo afterwards.
Besides, big combos dont matter if they can be broken, keep in mind that Chi can drain meter in the middle of doing one.

If the patch rids of the effect of mesmerize and ground blast, he would rightfully obtain a place in the low tier section

Cyrax can drain meter too, is not as if he's the only one who can do that.
Didn't know that if you were to be hit by a projectile when you use trance you're free to move. This could be patched, but I don't see it as being a major nerf, as it's nothing more than a fortunate coincidence.

I'm aware of Cyrax also having the ability, but after having some experience using cyrax, I don't find it as beneficial to him as it is to Chi, unless his bomb trap keeps all of its properties ater the patch
 
Does this mean Kenshi won't have any telekinetic attacks? I was hoping a couple of them would still be thrown in. I just can't wait to see some actual footage on him.

I think maybe he uses his telekinetic to move the sword this time, but not for throws, it would be cool.
But remember Kenshi didnt meet Ermac yet in this timeline so maybe he didnt learn telekineses yet.
 
Nah. I think it's just straight up sword slashes. As you already know, his fatalities will already be based on his swords. So don't be surprised when you see him lop some heads off.
 
OK something missing from the notes smokes gotten a small damage nerfing on his combos not a big change but still noticeable

Nope, he probably won't have any. That's awesome though, I want his swordsman side to be shown in this one. We already have Ermac for telekinetic powers.

I was hoping Scorpion's Hellfire was gonna get changed to an aimed move like Jax's ground pound, but other than that, I don't really know enough about the game to say I have a problem with the changes.

That would be awful. I think all the actual aimed moves should be auto target like scorpions demon fire.
 
Hopefully Kenshi will be a rushdown character that has a good pressure game. He's one of my favorites and I've been itching to try an offensive character for a while(other than Kung Lao lol).
