Why do XBOX players need a special feature?

I certainly do not need an exclusive feature. As a matter of fact, I find the lack of Kratos and all his garbage to be an exclusive improvement all on its own.

As a 360 owner, I am enraged by the fact that Ed Boon has been dropping cryptic hints at demos and exclusive content but yet to reveal anything. This is just goading the 360 fanbase at its worst, and I think he deserves all the flak he does get. When Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Dead Space 2 were coming out, their developers were up-front that PS3 was getting this extra stuff and 360 was not.

Seriously, it's bad enough that the last few games were terrible.. But now he's just being a douche to half the fanbase. =\

I almost want to agree with you on that Reptikhan. But something about that arrangement still doesn't seem fair. To be honest, exclusives are just plain unfair across the boards.

I'm sure a SHITLOAD of PS3 users would gladly give up Kratos and his stage for the LiR and Pit 3.

I thnk Reptikhan was close to what may happen. But your point is a good one too. They may need to strike a balance and weight the difference between Skarlett and Kratos.

I agree with this as well, however PS3 fans will ***** that the 360 is getting MK KONTENT exclusively, which I somewhat understand. I would feel sorry for them as well.

The thing is though, some MK fans love Kratos. Whether or not some MK fans don't appreciate it is not the problem or of relevance. Besides that, it isn't like it is "EXCLUSIVE exclusive" It'd just be pay exclusive. Being available to both consoles just one has to pay.

Personally the PS3 fans don't have a leg to stand on because they are getting more content by purchasing "Lady in Red" and Pit3.

This!

The question of "Why do XBOX players need a special feature?" has now been answered at least two times now. No reason to really continue this debate.

That goes for LiR, something like the Pit 360 would be Xbox exclusive, which would cause uproar in the PS3 regiment of fans because it has something to do with Mortal Kombat.

Its a point on psychology. No one was asking for more content until someone else got something. XBOX fans would be just as happy if Kratos was taken away completely, never mind the fact that hes great for everybody.

[Rhetoric] Yeah. He's great for everyone. Here's a good suggestion. Make MK10 a total buffet of more interesting and developed characters. It'd be like a true cross franchise SSBM with blood, guts, gore, and fatalities. We can just IGNORE the MK characters all together. CLEARLY NRS would be making much much more money if they would just make it that Predator was ripping Freddy's head off.[/rhetoric]

The problem is, Kratos IS important. He's not just a happy little extra on the side, despite the reality of it. He's nearly EQUALLY important to this game than the game itself. And the ONLY justification that we have for this is the thought terminating rhetoric of what's good for business is good for all and that's one of the more dishonest truisms this world has ever seen.

Dont unlock him from the Krypt then

it is the same if they offer you online play and you cant play online with what you said they should be paying less

there is one thing i dont understand is why we all care so much over some thing we have no controll over isnt it easyer to say your peace and move on

If the 360 really gets an exclusive like The Pit 360, it will all happen again. History repeats. The players may change but the game remains the same. LOL A broken record. Haha. Maybe one day gamers will evolve to a point where they will rise above these console wars. Hehe.

Personally I think the Pit3 would be a redux of the "Pit360" version. I doubt the Pit 3 which is based on the series would be only exclusive to the Xbo360. That's direct MK history.Sure they might add an XB360/MS icon in the stage somewhere [IE Pit360] and on the PS3 add a Sony icon somewhere.

However, without a free stage and character it's really unbalanced in the 360's favor.

Let's pretend a demo is worth $5.00. [Just a section of content.

PS3= Game [60.00 value] + Character/Stage [Additional 5.00 free] + Demo [5.00 free]

That gives PS3 fans $70.00 in content for the price of $60.00.

Now the 360 has:

Game=60.00.

So they are being ripped by $10.00 [potential wise]

If they get LiR/Pit3 free instead of paying let's say $10.00 ...

That then equates to $70.00=$70.00 [PS3 owners will pay that additional $10.00 for that content]

Pretty much balancing the cost overall.

We Dont Need An Exclusive Character There`s King Of The Hill Which Xbox Exclusive STOP MOANIN

And Theres Another Thing MK Is Famous In My School And Some Serious Scorpion Abuse There Lol! But They Like Johhny Cage And Jax.

Dont unlock him from the Krypt then

All they need to do is ensure that those that don't unlock him from the krypt never has to fight against him online or in the arcade ladder, and everything is set. You have to understand, a lot of PS3 owners are probably none too happy about Kratos at all and view him as a kind of MK case of herpes.

Microsoft does not develop the game you are purchasing. NRS/WB does. They don't even make full profit off of the game. Store chains get a portion of the money, the direct company and more. Thus your argument would deprive NRS of more money than they can afford, not only for profit [which only 5% of games released make profit] but for future budgets on MK games as well.

Microsoft runs its own server which costs the company money thus people pay to keep it running, just like how they add online passes now? Those give money to the companies to keep the online play running and adding additional time before shutting them down.

I wouldnt go that far b/c PS3 Plus member paid for the demo.

And Sony paid for the demo to the other users which helps the MK team make the DLC

Personally, if they make "Lady in Red" free DLC along with possibly Pit360 like the rumour I think that is an equal trade because it is the same amount of content.

Sure PS3 fans would be upset having to pay an additional $5.00 but they already recieved Kratos and stage which is pretty much equal to $5.00 thus balancing the exclusive chart.

I disagree.
I would GLADLY pay $5.00 for The Pit 3 and "Skarlett" (she has a name now. Hector said it himself, on the radio).

My only gripe is if they made Skarlett and The Pit 3 ONLY for the 360, and not even consider it as paid DLC for PS3.

PS3 fans recieved a free demo, PS+ got it first but it was released to everyone else like a week later. Thus the demo itself was free. However, they still recieved free content.
