Why do XBOX players need a special feature?

An analogy if you will:


Let's say one book publishing company releases two copies of the same book to the market place.

They are exactly the same, except, one version is written by a famous writer and has an extra chapter/scenario. The other has no additional content by any means and is plainly a generic writer.


Now, let's say they both costs exactly the same. $20.00. Do you believe you are getting your moneys worth from buying the copy without content? Of course you wouldn't. who in their right mind would?

The same applies to this game. Except, not every 360 fan has a choice to purchase the version with more content, unlike those books where you have a choice.

and btw mr @yahoo a lot of people owned a ps2 and xbox back in the day. hence the fact a lot of people have played god of war and are familiar w/ Kratos without owning a ps3. when this gen of consoles came out prices made a lot of people pick one or the other. I bet a lot of xbox 360 only people have had a ps console in the past (maybe even a ps2 with GoW!!). i really don't care for extra content but i think your being unfair stating that xbox owners are like kids.

I own a 360. I could care less. Anyone that engages in a console war is a momo. Haha. Why would I defend the XBOX360? It's not my mother. I just own one. Wow. A big deal! PS3 owners get some sweet bonuses. That's cool. Envy isn't pretty. It's rather unattractive.
 
I must be the crazy third party X-box owner that's completely jazzhands out of his mind happy that he's not getting any unrelated MK gimmicks crammed into his version.

Who are these X-box owners pissing and moaning about not getting any x-box exclusive stuff?

There are some, but most of us dont want the exclusive because we are not missing out on anything, contrary to what people may think, bottom line is that we are NOT MISSING OUT ON SHIT.

This person is not 100% right, his analogy fails. His analogy would work if PS3 got something MK related as an exclusive.

And Xbox users are like kids if they whine about this. Its business, if you dont like it, then youre not fit for the world because thats what our society is like. This is capitalism, everyone is trying to get ahead of each other in any way necessary. Like I said, if you cant handle that, then you cant handle the world.

Taj had it on the money. Now that I think about it I'm glad I'm getting the pure MK game. I don't need extra stuff on top of what we have already. I know it's not Ed Boon's or NRS's fault about the whole 360 dilemma with the demo and exclusives. It's WB making a poor business choice to barely give any attention to the 360. Quite frankly I'm tired of the lame and ungrateful PS3 owners who like to rub it in our face and of whiney 360 users saying "OMG NO EXCLUSIVES OR DEMO? CANCELING PREORDER!!" I'm not gonna be a DB and say "people who are like that are not TRULY MK fans". They are, they're just being wildly immature. Yes, the situation was handled badly. We shouldn't let it get in the way of enjoying the game. It's not the fans fault, Ed's, or NRS's. It's big business doing what they do best, not serving the best interests of ALL of their consumers.

Ed Boon and the staff seem to be getting a different message on twitter.

If Kratos is so lame and out of place then it shouldnt be a big deal to so many people.

Xbox does have a major exclusive over ps3...it is a PURE mk which is the best exclusive i could of asked for lol

out of all the xbox users i have seen only a HANDFUL are pissed off about the exclusive shit playstation 3 got, on the other hand majority of the xbox users dont give a flying f*** me being one of them

Truth be told, if the shoe was on the other foot and 360 got Master Chief or someone from Gears and PS3 didn't get anything, I'd probably buy a PS3, JUST TO TOTALLY AVOID THE GIMMICK.

I'm more relieved than anything.

Why cant 360 players realize this, and why cant PS3 players realize that we dont CARE about their exclusive. Like noob+saibot said, we are getting the better deal (IN MY OPINION) because were getting PURE MK.
 
how many times in a day do mods shut these kind of threads down yesterday it was one but to day 6-7 or may be we will all realise that not every one is *****ing but try to say move on the horse is dead now

There really hasnt been that much crying actually.

Most everyone in here is pretty much saying the same thing. That we dont really have a say in much of this and that its all business performed by the big guys. We all just need to accept whats going on because its been going on. I own a PS3 and I wish the those 360 guys could get the samething and vise versa. For now though it wont happen maybe in the future but not right now and its too bad. Again its nobodies fault its just a dumb business moves and hopefully in the future this exlusive non-sense will stop.

But right now we are all getting virtually the same game and its going to be awsome! LET KOMBAT BEGIN!!!

So because PS3 has Kratos it's not "Pure MK?" just shut up. One character really isn't that big of a deal. You all are blowing this way out of proportion.

Whoa. Bro, Ive had nothing but respect for you on the forum, so dont tell me to shut up. If you understand who my posts are directed to, they are directed to the whiney 360 fans and the "rub in the face" PS3 fans. And compared to the PS3 version, yeah we sorta do have a more "Pure MK" because we have no outsiders. Theres no denying that.
