@Joshuaalt Then I guess it would make sense not to make comments on characters being little ******* when you havent played the game. Just an observation

Well that all really depends, doesn't it. I mean, Quan Chi. Does anyone even know that cat at this moment? Does Shang know Quan at that time or he just some random bald dude from god knows where and no one really cares at the moment?

I don't remember the tournament being open to ONLY the Earthrealm and Outworld. It would make sense that Netherrealm would have stake in this as well.

I don't know who it was, but there was someone who was using Sindel a pretty fair amount (and I'm glad for it. :P )

Stryker was probably the most played in the time I was watching, though, and he kicked a fair amount of ass. They've managed to make even Stryker badass, I don't even know what's going on.
 
I see people saying it's the first tournament, it's the 10th tournament I think, 10th or 11th because Kung Lao won the first then goro won 9 in a row.
 
i really wanted 2 see sindel in action anyone want 2 post link 4 me :( they didnt even show something kitana related, oh well...

Haha, I smiled hard everytime Stryker fought. I'm totally satisfied with the way he plays. :) His X-ray was awesome too, the flashlight was pretty hilarious though.
Sindel's X-ray, that was, wow lol. Her n Jade are fighting hard to take away Johnny's mantle it seems lol
 
As much as Sindel and Jade try, they realize that Johnny is the true king of ball busting. He even made Goro be in pain from hitting him in the groin (although I know it's from the movie, but still, it's a big accomplishment). lmao
 
So... Bi-Han/Sub-Zero knows both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung at this point (if MK Mythologies is still canon). So it is safe to say that Shang Tsung knows Quan Chi because Shang Tsung gave Quan Chi the information about the whereabouts of the Amulet just before Mythologies. Shang Tsung gained knowledge of the Amulet when he took the Great Kung Lao's soul when Goro killed him. In exchange Quan Chi resurrected Sindel. When Bi-Han gave the amulet to Quan Chi; Quan Chi made a duplicate and kept the original (thus having it as a belt buckle). Remember, Quan Chi is "just there" and waiting to strike when his enemies least expect it...

Quan Chi is supposed to have betrayed Scorpion AND Sub-Zero, causing their rivalry.

It makes PERFECT sense that he's in the MK 1 tournament.

quan chi is there with scorpion and why would he not be there he is important to most of the game
