8.9 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan

they show it since some hours in polish TV as breaking news... like someone said, tokyo is not concerned so hard... but hope they manage it and there wont be too much dead... 19 till now...
 
Largest earthquake in Japan's recorded history, now that is saying something. Tsunami warning set for 5 am in Hawaii then Alaska, Canada, and America's west coast after that.
 
Watching it now. My aunty and best mate are out there in the affected areas. I'll be by my phone, tv and net connection al day.

I've been living here for a year, and i work for an IT company in Shinagawa, I'm currently writting this from my phone as i showed this to my co-workers
I let them read or should i say i read to them your words (translated in japanese) And their reaction was very shocked that you guys took time out to wish us safe being.
we made a quick thank you vid (japanese) and ill upload it once im home.
All trains an most phones are down, but thank you guys!

P.s ive been roaming this site for years lol just didn't have time to sign up
overloaded with projects and meetings haha, but you guys have a great thing going
and ill be online for MK9 had my brother in the states pre-order it for me hahahaha
But yea if you want to check out vids on japan go to my facebook, the building size Gundam and so on
idk maybe have to add me as i locked some vids lol just let me know your from here.

This is horrible, it's just disaster after disaster. First the Australian floods, New Zealand earthquakes, now this. My thoughts go out to everyone who has to suffer this ordeal.
 
Its bad. Saw something on yahoo earlier about the moon being very close to the earth next weekend, could possibly cause earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, violent storms, and yeah, tsunamis. Closest its been it like 20 years. Idk if its just theory, but thats what i read.

Sorry to hear that from you two. My thoughts are with you three and I will pray for you guys tonight and everyne affected by it. I wouldn't wnat any of our TRMK memebers to get harmed, even if you are new. Hope you three are going to be okay!

- 160 times force of earthquake that razed Christchurch, NZ

- 25 after-shocks so far

- 6.9 biggest after-shock recorded as of this post (*assuming this was the main event, which is no guarantee)

- 6-10m tsunamis

- and eathquakes hit Japan every 5 minutes on average

...How does Dec 21 2012 relate to this? Shit happens. Records will continue to break as time pushes forward. Do we really need to link these things to Doomsday theories?

Besides, this whole thing is a misunderstanding. Japan is just doing a mass laundry cleanse.

Okay... Not that funny. But lets all relax a little and just pray for/keep these poor people in our thoughts.
 
At least Japan was pretty well-prepared for this sort of stuff, but still, I do hope that those unfortunate to lose their home or even had a close friend or relative that died are able to heal; a 8.9 earthquake AND a tsunami is nothing to scoff about.
