New Trailer MK VS DC

My impressions:
Sonyas face looked like she had down syndrome in the beginning.
The characters themselves (graphics wise) look pretty crappy
The stages look awesome!
The fighting looks slow and boring.
The falling fighting looks awesome.
The special moves look good, but seemed to have too many sound effects added to them.
Kindof like the blood, but it seems to disappear very quickly into thin air.
Superman freezing sub-zero was weird.
Scorpion looks very tall.
Shang looks um different.
The end was amazing and i definitely cracked a little smile of hope.

Yeah, that was an okay trailer. The best part was the end. Other then that it was same old stuff we have seen. Anyone else thinking the fighting in the air is too long and slow, and will get boring?

I thought that about the regular fighting, the punches and kicks looked very slow. But now that you mention it, the air fighting looked slow too. I think i just liked the view of the arena when falling.

I dunno. This trailer took me back a step in excitement for this.
The gameplay we saw last week on the TV show looked WAY better than this.

Ya good call, it will look better on my ps3, but still overall i was not blown out of the water with anything besides the toasty and new arenas.
To make it worse ill be comparing it to MGS4, the graphics at least. That is the first game i have seen take advantage of the PS3 capabilities and unfortunately i think MK vs. DC has barely graduated from the PS2 days.

Motorstorm is flippin incredible looking too, but your observation of comparing MKvDC to PS2 makes me wonder if A. you need glasses or B. your on crack or just C. all the above.:questionmark:

Here are my Pros and Cons:
Pros:
-Shows Fatalities(and very detailed too)
-Finally! A new trailer
- Shows me a little more gameplay and special moves
Cons:
-If ya wanted a new fighting system out of MK ur out of luck since i saw the characters have fighting stances so i'm guessing they are going to have a mk:a type fighting system
- close kombat seems slow paced
-they took old moves and kinda re-did them but still noticeable
I think this will be an ok game but i will definitly buy it.

Agreed, the graphics look freaking awesome, nuff said.
Cool trailer, very much looking forward to this game.
@ Ghost, they didn't reuse moves man, trust me I'm one of those nutty online players lol I can already tell that these are all newer moves, counter moves or parries etc. Totally different animations, if you watch the trailers, gametrailer show carefully.

Honestly this does not look that much better than ps2. Go look at the detail of snake from MGS4. This game looks like crap compared to that.
ok smartass i just didnt watch the HD one first, and when i did watch it it still looks barely better than Armageddon.
The graphics dont look freaking awesome. They look average at best for PS3, with near identical fighting system used for Armageddon.
Its been how many years since deadly alliance and they have only barely upgraded since then.

Parts of the gameplay from the SpikeTV episode look nearly photorealistic. And as fighting games go, this one looks as good as if not better than SC4, VF5, DOA4, and the like.
As to the gameplay, you can't possibly know if it's "identical" because you've not played a build of it yet. Please stop comparing it to last generation's graphics (and the PS2, at that), because that is simply hyperbole and you're coming off as a PS3 fanboy.
