Mortal Kombat Mythologies: The Adventures of Sub-Zero has been officially announced for an October 1997 release. Here is the press release from Midway Home Entertainment. The press release also unearths many details about the game...

According to the new storyline, Sub-Zero must steal a sacred map from an ancient Shaolin temple. The map, known as the Map of Elements, shows the way to another temple...a temple long hidden from the eyes of mortal men. Housed within the temple walls is an artifact that predates man's history on Earth. Mortal Kombat Mythologies rich storyline follows Sub-Zero as he embarks on this daring quest.
