In the grandest of traditions, TRMK will be in Los Angeles, CA next week for its sixth year of live show-floor coverage of the Electronic Entertainment Expo. This year's show should be a good one as Midway will be showing off the closing chapter of the Mortal Kombat universe on current generation consoles, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Mortal Kombat: Unchained, the PSP adaptation of Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Also, don't forget to check out our parent network site Realm Media Networks as we will be covering all of the next-generation console news and games with live updates and impressions.

We're extremely excitied about this year's show. Check back for more details on the specific features we will be using. While you're waiting, check out our coverage from last year. E3 coverage starts next week from May 9th - May 12th.

Also you Xbox 360 owners out there, be sure to check our new "Realm" site for that upcoming game for the Xbox 360. Gears of War Realm.

Forget Gears of War, I want to see some Dead Rising Action and Resident Evil 5

It seems like this is no longer a MK site, but a general gaming site... Have fun at E3

Where do you get that idea? TRMK is a MK site, always has been and always will be. But, Realm Media, our parent site is the general gaming site and parent company we started up last year to cover other stuff. Gears of War Realm is my new project site to run in addition to The Realm of Mortal Kombat.

Not only that, but there are just as many off-topic forums than there are MK forums. :

Are we gonna get to see some bit torrent downloads like last years E3 or did you never replace the lost equipment? I'd really like to see some shots of E3 from y'all :D

We've replaced the equipment. Thanks to everyone's support of our advertisers. We're working on a much better distribution system for our videos. BitTorrent is going to be out. We'll probably be using YouTube or some form of QuickTime streaming. Exciting stuff!

Well.. my recommendation to check out DMC1 before E3 2001 was a hit. So let's see here, what else is there aside from the usual suspects...? Not much aside from Nintendo surprises I suppose. Oh, sorry guys, Dead Rising isn't the zombie survival horror game some people expecting. It's a fairly mindless action title (emphasis on mindless) that's probably going to wow you technically. Everything you see can be used as a weapon, and the sheer number of enemies on screen is great eye candy (albeit, not all will have active AI). Lost Planet is a title I'm curious how it will end up; it's done by some of the creative minds behind Onimusha 3. I'm hoping to hear more info about RE5, especially since this year marks the series' 10th anniversary (and the PS3 version is currently the most wanted game by Famitsu readers). Not holding my breath there though. Tekken 6 will make its debut, and I'm hoping the same for DMC4.

Not sure if you're aware of it or not or if it's live yet or not, the link on the main page for the sportlight section of MK info at E3 points to a interview about Midway Arcade Legends.
