A post over at Kotaku details information from a "mole" at Microsoft regarding the current state of where things are with the Xbox 360. Among the details was a quick quip about how problems with lag are holding up Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting from the Xbox Live Arcade. "Right now a lot of work is being done of Street Fight 2 because the lag is very bad and they are having trouble getting it playable online." Could this spell online doom for the recently announced Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3?

We should know whether or not a positive online experience is possible with the classic 2D twitch fighter when Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting is expected to make its debut online this month. Until then, get your appetite ready for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 with this video of the game's "Supreme Demonstration" reward, highlighting every Fatality, Animality, Friendship and Babality from UMK3.

That video is kinda weird. The timer is 99. Only one medallion. The dead opponents lifebar is still full. i was like "wtf?" LOL

It is a scripted video. It plays at the end of the game if you select the right kombat code from the 8 or so symbols laid out for you.

I'm going to try to not let that go to my head. When I get my 360, it'll certainly seem like a reborn of UMK3 playing with sim and pat. Seeing those fatalities again brings tears to my eyes. Some of those fatalities were so memorable, and seeing them again just wanted me to buy a 360. I gotta get a job and start saving. I know most of you are creaming over this, and I'll certainly join you.

Ah fatalities... I never used them enough when I used to play UMK3 (I had a habbit of using them once to see them and then never using them again)... Dam. Seeing those still brings back golden memories though... Brings a tear to your eye almost.

I almost never perform most of the fatalities in the MK3 line of games. A 3 second fatality input time is just far too short for my tastes. I gotta get in the groove if I wanna churn out a fatality. I can almost always pull of any MKII or MK1 fatality. MK:DA and MK:D fixed that issue.

Don't copy me. This is certainly going to be a fun fun thing to play again. No one ever really came over to my house to play UMK3 when I had an SNES (Emo Song Here). It's going to be fun to actually play with people and not the computer.

Ah Prophet isn't that a little childish/pitiful picking up on something that is simulair in both our posts, I was not copying you. ^-^' Its not important though, not worth really much of a fuss over it. I don't want anyone to continue this as a argument or flame war. We've had enough of those in recent weeks. I must say say... Sesh! Come on people... Knock it on the head already with trying to start fights! I don't know why... At one point I liked the animalities... Now when I compare them with the others... I hate them. Wierd but true. Same with babilities.

I've always loved the Super Demonstration in UMK3. I don't have 360 yet but once I get it, I hope they work something out.
