Our friends over at Mortal Kombat Online have learned that Scorpion is going to be making an appearence in the season premiere of the Comedy Central animated reality show spoof Drawn Together. He is one of many who interview with the show's cast as a potential new roommate. Here is the episode synopsis from Comedy Central.

The Season 1 cliffhanger continues as the cast crash lands on a supposedly deserted island. Everyone, except for Toot, makes it safely back to the house, where they immediately interview potential new roommates, including Scorpion from the video game Mortal Kombat. They settle on Strawberry Sweetcake.

The episode will air on Wednesday, October 19th at 10:30 PM EST/9:30 PM CST. Check your local listings to find the channel Comedy Central is on in your area.

I find it interesting that they settled on a character named Strawberry Sweetcake after some controversy that was created a few years ago. Popular online comic Penny Arcade posted a humorus take on Strawberry Shortcake and was told to take it down or face legal action from American Greetings. I'm pretty sure that American Greetings will have a problem with Strawberry Sweetcake getting strangled like I saw in the show promo this evening, and who knows what else the character will be up to in the series. I know that I will be tuning in to find out.

Haha, I saw a commercial for this with Scorpion in it near the end. It looked like his MK: Deception model... unsure what he was doing, possibly his Fatality maneuvers? I forget. I only saw it once... but I was shocked. =P

I've been watching a few shows tonight and keep missing it.

You know, I practically watch Comedy Central all day long and I've seen Drawn Together advertised a number of times, but I still haven't seen one with a clip of Scorpion.

I haven't seen a commercial with Scorpion, either. It sounds awesome, though, I was already anticipating this new season before I heard about this, but now I'm near exploding with anticipation.

LMAO, I just saw the commercial, and lets just say it looks great. Scorpion does the Spine Rip on Xzander(the gay elf guy). It looks awesome. Too bad he's only in one episode...

He looks exactly like his MKD render, just moving. Maybe even in 2d. Lol, I'm going to rip this commercial the next time I see it. :D

Just saw it, and yeah, it's basically his MKD render moving about, but I can't wait. Xander got "pwned!"
