Gamespot has completed their
full review of the
Nintendo64 version of
Mortal Kombat 4. They lauded Eurocom for their special attention to the audio part of the game, giving MK4 high marks for sound and music. One of the quirks that the reviewer had was that the N64 controller got in the way when needing to perform a fatality that required multiple button presses at the same time. (i.e. Sub-Zero's Head Rip) But that can be fixed by purchasing an arcade stick controller like the
Arcade Shark from
Interact Accessories or the
Dual Arcade Joystick from
MadCatz. That and a few minor slow downs were the only negatives to the review. It looks like Eurocom has done an exceptional job in remedying the negatives that plagued the Nintendo
64 port of
Mortal Kombat Trilogy. The Nintendo
64 version of
Mortal Kombat 4 will be available in stores June 29th
