Midway released updated versions of the boxart from Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks today. The box art features some minor changes from the previously released image on GameSpot, namely Liu Kang's expression, the Shaolin Monks logo and the Rating Pending badge.

He's highlighting the differences between the left and right pictures.

Okay, heres a list, to show you what he circled that is different. The Title Shaolin Monks is outlined in white on the new art. Also, the red has been darkened and some blue was added as well. The Dragon on Kung Lao's chest was rotated to give you a better view of the detail. More shadow was added to Baraka's back. The Midway logo has a shadow/outline added to clean it up and make it stand out more. Liu Kang's abs have changed shape. Liu's open mouth is now closed. His head is also rotated slightly to the left so you can see more of his right side burn. Also, his eyes were made to look more menacing. More texture was added to the MK Dragon and less lighting was used. The only difference I see on Kung Lao's face is that a harder light source was used, increasing the glare and brightening his facial features slightly. not errors really, just a change from the original design.
