Today marks the release of a new MKast that is covering the upcoming Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. In what we feel is the best episode yet, the Mortal Kombat team discusses the genesis behind the Mortal Kombat franchise as well as lots of behind the scenes stories. Along with the stories you'll see a bunch of footage of the upcoming game re-releases which arrive next week on August 30th in the US.



Thanks to all involved at NetherRealm for this episode, hopefully we get to see a director's cut of this episode sometime.

Update: It appears that this was released early and isn't completed, so is currently unwatchable

Brutal. I don't think it will recreate the same environment as the actual arcade did, but should be fun and nostalgic nontheless.

30 seconds of interview footage was cut. Two segments, one with John Vogel talking about digitising, the other with Mike Taran talking about MK and the arcade scene.

I never got to play UMK3 only MK3 so I am so happy to finally play as: Jade Scorpion Kitana Mileena Human Smoke Ermac

I guess we can all say R.I.P. MKHD Kollection. . . . I'm going to get this for my PC.. I hope my PC can handle it. . .

UMK3 for the IPAD only has scorpion, sheeva, kitana, liu kang, sonya, jax, sub-zero and 2 question marks (jade and ermac, i dnt know how to unlock them!)
