The controls of MKM:S-Z require you to learn them. The setup is extremely difficult to utilize during the game. The use of the directional pad for jumping leaves you angry every single time when you try to jump from platform to platform. The fighting sequences are also difficult due to the fact that you are not automatically faced towards your opponent. You must hit the "turn" button to get Sub to face the right way. The turn is extremely slow and by the time you're ready to hit your opponent you have already been sweeped twice. The graphics amd story line are excellent and are expected from any game with the Mortal Kombat name. The soundtrack can get monotonous, but is still perfectly integrated into the game.
