Truth, NRS picked a great lineup of artists to make music for them. LOVE Congorock's Liu Kang theme, the bassline is just terrific. Here's a cool article on MSTRKRFT Taking about the Soundtrack; http://www.inthemix.com.au/news/intl/49248/MSTRKRFT_say_electro_is_ruined_record_Mortal_Kombat_soundtrack

Not big on this kind of music myself but i still downloaded them. Liu Kang's i actually thought was cool. Sub Zero's i couldn't listen to the whole thing because it was really boring. I hope this isn't the music you fight to in the actual game. It really doesn't motivate me to kick much ass, gotta be more intense if you are dismembering your opponents like we have seen from video's so far. A soundtrack is very crucial to the game if you ask me and i think they could make a really good "intense" techno-ish soundtrack for the game if that is what they are going for but i don't think they should limit themselves to that genera. Some good driving orchestral stuff would be nice too

Frankly, I think they're awful, but Liu Kang's theme wasn't that bad in the begining. I hope the in-game soundtrack doesn't sound like that. It just does not fit Mortal Kombat in my opinion. They should also stay away from rock. I'll be happy if I hear some oriental themes, the use traditional Asian instruments, something to remember. But Mortal Kombat isn't all that original anymore. Too bad, a little reimagining could do wonders...

Arrrrrrrghhhhhh I wanted a new version of "Chinese Ninja Warrior." It's doubtful that any of the old songs will be covered but I'm still holding on to a glimmer of hope.

It would be really nice to get remixed versions of the old songs and some new songs for the new levels.
