GamesRadar UK today is showing off an exclusive gameplay video
of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. In the video Mortal Kombat Co-Producers Hans Lo and Hector Sanchez go over the game's new Kombat Modes: Klose, Freefall and Rage. It's the best in-depth look at these features as we'll see them in the finished game.

Also at the end of the video they'll show The Joker's new Fatality. I don't want to go give anything away, so you'll have to watch to see it for yourself. You can watch the embedded video directly below.

Wow, what a video - I love GamesRadar!! So much new stuff in that video (fighting footage of WW, Deathstroke, Green Lantern, etc) plus most of their freefall specials, new arena's, and the Joker's second fatality - not as great as his first but still pretty cool :D

Alright! Green Lantern, FTW! The RAGE mode looks pretty cool now. I was unaware of the connection to the breakers. I can't wait to lay down the pain with Hal!

Ok, this was the best MKast yet. I've learned to love freefall kombat, but I am not sure about klose kombat. I still see it ruining the flow of the match. And Rage mode still seemed like a Aggressor mode, and the AM was complete fail. I dunno. We'll see. Also, why in the world do they have to show us these fatalities? SECRETS people, SECRETS!!! Oh well. Good vid.

Great vid. Rage mode should have been significantly shortened, down from 6 seconds to 3 or 4. I realize they want to give people opportunities to use some combos during rage mode, but if you shortened its duration, the players would have to decide whether or not to use it in close quarters to knock back the opponent and get some space, or use it outside of that range and then thrash them with a couple of combos. As it is, you can do both.

im a lil dissapointed that his 2nd fatality isnt joker venom. its cool no doubt but i wanted his trademark. o well...

Anyone notice that Raiden and Scorpion will be sporting their MK/MKII stances? I'd say it's about time Scorpion got that stance back!!

hmmm, an homage to reiko and noob. it seems, from what we've seen so far, that the creativeness for fatalities is just recycling old ones. sheeva/superman, scorpion's 16 year old fatality and now the joker/noob-reiko fatality. i hope the others don't disappoint. i can say at least for nostalgia's sake i was still slightly entertained.

Jokers gun fatality is way better.

I notice that when they say they're "merging" the stages of both universes, they're literally merging them symmetrically. I was expecting stages comprised of elements from both universes, but I like this approach as well.

I like The Joker's fatality. Frankly, the old fatalities of ripping people's heads and arms off for every character has gotten a bit old. Hopefully they actually get creative this time around.

all i have to say is: IM THE SCATMAN! lol its a cool fatality i actually posted that idea on that "2nd joker fatality post" the pencil trick would be funny if they use voices for it not just some laughs

It's not just you, I think she looks awful. I'd rather have had them show a fatality for someone other than the Joker at this point, but for what it is, it's not bad. I am hoping that the remaining fatalities are a bit more unique, though. We've seen, what, four finishing moves so far, and three of 'em have been retreads from previous games.
